"My left arm might be sprained, but I don't use it much any way,"I laughed. "I'm glad to see that everyone so far is still in tact.." I looked around, "Where are the guys?" I asked. As if to answer my question, the three stumbled out from behind a building.

My right shoulders banged up is all. I replied trying my best to mostly ignore the guys. What do you all say to getting out of the open? I stood, holding my arm to my side.

"Works for me," I said tiredly as Aymery wrapped an arm around my shoulders. I slumped against him for a moment. "We'll be killed if we're out in the open for too long."
"Tayo and I know some of the people in a town near here," Aymery told us. "We'll be able to get a place there easily."

It was good to see that guys had made it through as well. Amaya nods as she heads towards the cover of the nearby trees."I'm definately looking forward to a nice hot meal. Do you think it will take long to get there?" She asks hoping that it won't be long at all.

Aymery considered this as he began to walk, half carrying me with him. "Not too long," he said after a moment. "We're about fifteen minutes away."
"Good," I groaned, forcing my shaky and tired legs to move. "Cause I think that's the maximum amount of time I have left in me. Come on, guys."

Amaya begins following Aymery's lead using her staff as a walking stick. She was just as tired as Tenchi looked. "Excellent. That is exactly what I was hoping to hear." It wasn't long before the outline of town could be seen in the distance.

I walked almost mindlessly towards the town, but no matter how tired I felt I knew she wouldn't be able to sleep at all. 'I look foreward to a bath and washing my clothes, again.. Even if it seems like a tireless effort,' I thought to myself. Soon we were reaching the edge of town that Tayo and Aymery told us about...

I ate the meal, talking with the others as I 'scarfed' my food down as Tayo put it. As soon as my stomache was getting full, I realized that one of the vegetables had a strange aftertaste I didn't particularly like. 'Must have been to hungry before to notice,' I thought to myself. Washing the aftertaste with a long drink of water I excused myself from the table. Without further adeu I went to my room to examen my arm. My suspisions of any injury beyond bruises were false, and the thought of a nice, hot bath returned to me as I closed my eyes. "I'll go have that bath now," I smiled as I turned the water on....
The water was soothing, and just being in water helped me relax even more. Everything seemed to be so far away, especially after I spotted the bath soap (lavender scented) next to the sink. The aroma of lavender let me drift back to Amphora before the war, before POL, and before so many people had died. I grabbed some soap and scrubbed it into my hair a million times, as if trying to get rid of all the things that happened.. When I was done, my hair color returned to it's sunny blonde instead of a dirty one since we haven't had time for good hygene since our last recovery...
After I was clean I washed out my clothes in the bath water until they were relatively spotless, but I didn't look foreward to sewing the few holes in the sides.... "I was never really good at sewing," I remembered, smiling at the memory of my teacher becoming more and more frustrated with my poor sewing attempts. Laughing lightly I looked through my bag to put on a light blue robe before returning to my room to get changed....

I sank down on the comfortable bed with a contended moan. It felt marvelous to my aching back. Aymery had retired to his room a few minutes ago, and I figured he was already asleep. I stretched my back, listening to it crack, then snuggled down into my pillow, looking around the room.
It was a small room, quite unlike I was used to, but right then I was relieved to have it. There was a window, a desk, a bed, a chair and that's about it. The door to the bathroom I shared was across from my bed. It was a little cramped, but since all I really needed it for was sleeping, it would more than do.
I tugged the covers over my body and yawned to myself. My clothes were drying draped over the chair nearby. In the morning, I'd go after them with a sewing needle to see if there were any holes that needed to be done. And, I smiled wryly, I'd probably have to do Aurora's, too. The last time she tried to sew something, she ended up sewing it to the pants she was wearing.
Closing my eyes, I felt sleep overtake me...

'And, I smiled wryly, I'd probably have to do Aurora's, too. The last time she tried to sew something, she ended up sewing it to the pants she was wearing. ' kept me giggling for a while ^^;
I sat on the edge of the bed, which was pretty firm I noticed. Draping the wet clothes over the furniture I carefully sorted through my things once more to find a cool nitie to sleep in. At thebottom of the bag was a thin sleeveless purple nightgown that came down to my knees with a modest neckline. It was made of satin, a rare material on Amphora, which was often traded from Trista...
Slipping into the nightgown, I rolled over the bed enjoying how squeeky clean I felt. As soon as I had laid down, I realized how thirsty I had become and decided to go down-stairs after putting my robe back on...

Hey, I've seen people actually DO that before. Honest. It's incredibly funny to see when they stand up and realize what they've done!
I wasn't sure what had awoken me, but suddenly, I was. Awake, that is. My eyes opened and I sat up, my body tensed as if prepared for an attack. But when I listened, all appeared to be silent. I knew I had not been sleeping for very long, but I felt perfectly rested.
I swung my legs off of the bed and stood up. I glanced at my clothes, which were still damp, but decided against pulling them on. Instead, I strode over to the door and nudged it open, peering through it. The hallway was silent.
I edged out into the hallway and strode down the corridor. I considered waking Aymery up, for the air felt wrong, but I figured that if anything happened, I could scream loud enough to wake someone up.
I crept down the stairs and looked around. Someone was in the kitchen. Warily, I slipped over to the door, tugging at my emerald silk nightie. Silk was one of the common items on Enchantia, and clothing was made from them frequently. This, due to the warm night and the fact I had seen Aymery before bed, was one of my skimpiest - it came only to mid-thigh and was spaghetti strapped with a scooped, lace neck.
As my hand darted out and flicked on the light, I regretted my decision not to pull on my clothing as I instinctively screamed at the sight of a figure standing in front of the sink.

I looked up from my cup of juice to find Blaze standing there, "What do you think, I'm getting a cup of water," I replied with a hint of sarcasm in my voice. My eyes closed for a minute pretending I could fall asleep and opened them again. "And you're here to get something eat, right?" She nodded at my reply and looked through the fridge.
Tayo was down here, and so was David but I wasn't really paying much attention to their conversation. I looked at the bottom of the glass and sighed a little before rinsing it out. "So are you just hungry or is something else bothering you?" I whispered.
