Masq, I understand what you're saying, and admit Lion King was pretty extensively cribbed from Kimba. I just can't get very up in arms about something ripping off something else that was ripping off of yet another thing.
At some point, the cycle of plagiarism just has to be let continue on it's course because claiming anyone as the sole generator of some idea becomes meaningless. It's like the Circle of Life. [Cue Elton John. Is he even still alive?]

Dreaminess Riiight.. Judging on what I see on that wikipedia page, we shouldn't expect much of the artwork.. Which is a shame, Disney keeps on making "classics" and sequels (excellent examples: Aladdin 2 & 3) which actually look like crap because they were too lazy to work on the art..
.. But maybe I'm wrong wink I hope it's going to be a great movie! I personally hate how Disney is coming out with 2, 3, and 4 of some of the classics... It's making me mad... stare

the graphics look awful.
it's great that they will finally have an african american princess, though.
but no doubt, i will go and see it.
because it's a 2-d. and that makes me happy.

The older Disney movies are horribly sexist.
The Little Mermaid? Shut up, look pretty, get the guy. Other key women? Ugly power crazy squid woman.
Snow white? Of course as a female if I see a messy house in the middle of nowhere, I'm going to clean it! And alas, another victim of a power hungry female.
Cinderella? Being the nice sweet housewife will get you the prince. Other key women? You guessed it! Cranky, ugly, women.

Draconis)Wyrm Walter Disney himself was a complete a** and had daddy problems. He hungers for Cuban children. o.o' ^^lols. Cuban childeren. I think hes getting work done on his robot body. Wait, didnt he blow up? lols. Robot chicken is too funny!
