[Estelle] They were amazing, like I never stopped screaming for them, and they were all just so excited to be there! I know! They were SO CUTE!!!! Waving and crying and everything! heart
The most amazing thing about Avon WAS their music. The "unanswered question" was "How the hell do they count that?!?!?!" Seriously. There are a couple girls in my guard who could hardly count OUR music - which was a country song, steady beat the whole time - let alone that crazy song.
Also, apologies, Estelle, for this, I know they were your top competition and all, but those girls in Carmel are freakin beautiful dancers. I was so impressed. They were like ballerinas out there.

Another awsome show like Avon was 2003 Onyx... they did their show in total silence.... something happend with counting music and the director decidied to just have no music for finals week... I'm really sad know I missed all these scholastic world guards.

Oh, I know Carmel's body skills are incredible. You'd think they'd all been through years of dance training.
Honestly, we're always gettin nailed on body definition and such. We're known for our equipment, mostly rifle and flag. Our big thing for this next year is to get good on sabre and get everyone's dance skill up.

Aww, I'm so jealous of everyone who got to go! Our guard never goes. We'd be crushed in the first round, but It would still be a fun trip to go on!

so i know im late but i thought id post anyways...the guard I coach made semis in dayton, and were less than a point away from finals, im pretty sad but proud all in one! were planning on rocking next year. as for the guard i perform with...well were supposed to go to dayton for '08 but we'll see...were alright, hope to do better this year since were actually going to champs! smile well i think our high schools are about 38 days til winterguard...we call it the magic number, but you cant tell anyone what the magic number stands for they have to figure it out on there own...its kinda like an initiation for our freshies...well anyways i cant wait until winterguard i have the last day of try-outs sunday and we start our show! have an awsome season everyone!
