Cyrano_Lover Yeah, that's what think too. What are they waiting for? I know that they started the 3rd season a long time ago, so what's the hold-up?
and they got the all okay for them some time....during January?

It had to be before then. I thought I heard that they were half way through book 3 while we were still watching season 2

I really hope we get it in July. I don't want to wait 'til the end of summer break! That'll mean we waited for almost a year!

On avatarspirit.net there's an interview with Mike & Brian posted. Only 2 of the 3 parts are posted so far, though.
On the second part, Brian says he's really into redemption stories. Could this hint at Zuko redeeming himself?
Anyway, I'll post more of my opinion on it later. My sis wants on the computer right now, so I can't really post a long, in depth post about it.
I'll post the links later too.

Okay, here's the links and my thoughts.

The art about Ty Lee and her chakra blocking is pretty neat. So's the thing with Mai. I could never picture her actually taking a class for something like that, so it makes sense that she's self taught. It's also good news that Ty Lee can't take away Toph's vision, 'cause then Toph would be a little helpless, and helpless!Toph isn't happy.
So Iroh went on a spiritual journey? Maybe it was like what happened to Zuko, with the fever and hallucination thing. That would also help explain why he knew so much about it when Zuko was sick.
I can't wait for the next installment. We finally get to figure out why Zuko went all stupid and traitorous. And it would also be neat to learn what Sokka saw in the swamp.
Hurry up Season Three!

BK: While we appreciate their enthusiasm and excitement and appetite, if they could just put themselves in Mike's and my position...everyone here. We have been slaving on these shows for like 9-10 months each and crafting the story in painstaking detail, everything so they get the absolute best we can do in a story unfolding for them. When you're 8 ½ months in and then something is leaked out, it's frustrating. It's like, "If you folks would just have some discretion and wait and not spread this stuff around like wildfire." But people get excited and want to share it.

Yes! Third part!
First of all, cyclops Ozai would be amazing, and explain why Zuko's so traumatized. On a more serious note, maybe he actually is a 'cyclops' in the fact that he too has one of his eye's burned, most likely from his own father. I think it's a pretty common theory, but I find it interesting.
And the explaination for Zuko's choice makes sense. I kinda thought that it might be something like that, since Zuko seems easily manipulated and influenced. Especially since Azula is like a puppeteer in the way she treats people, using them all as pawns to get what she wants. It also means that after everything's over, he'll probably have regrets and possibly try and make up for his mistakes.
And robotAang would be the greatest thing in the world. Who needs bending when you can have years-ahead-of-its-time technology? And the color combination would be cool. I'm glad he's not actually dead though, since that would kinda kill the show a little. Or just make a bigger opening for Zutara. Your choice.
It's nice to learn about the origin of the Blue Spirit. It also means we may see more masked Zuko later in the series. The way they explained it as being his crime personality makes me think of superheros, though. >.<
Well, though it may be a long wait, I'm glad they're spending so much time on the episodes and trying to make sure they're the best they can be. That doesn't mean I'm not praying for summer release instead of fall, though. I'll just try not to complain.

That interview was awesome!! I was so happy to find out about all of the background stuff I've been wondering about!
I'm also glad they didn't tell us everythign though. This is going to be an awesome season!!!

The Runaway: I'm gettin' a Toph or Ursa vibe from this one. Hopefully it's about Ursa. Zuzu needs a reunion!
Also, apparently there'll be another muti-episode villain introduced. I wonder what they'll be like... Maybe a bounty hunter chasing Zuko/the Gaang/both?

And Ty Lee's been crushing on Sokka for over half of season two, so things shouldn't change too much.
