This came out late August... and it completely bombed. I feel bad for Amitabh Bachchan because he wanted to play Gabbar Singh and it kind of sucked, apparently. I'd rather just know the original is the best without watching the remake.

I heard it wasn't even close to the greatness of teh original. It was a kind of flop amoungest viewers since people only wanted to watch it because it was the remake of Sholay...and then it turned out real crummy.
OMG! One of the actors in the movie is Mohan Lal! He is a Malayalee like me! I grew up watching his movies...so it is kind of weird to think about him in a Hindi film...though he said he prefers Malayalam, and he only went for that film because they needed a big time acter like him (he is real big in the south) and I uess he was a fan of Sholay. sweatdrop
