The giggle was infectious, and Vasanta found herself trying to stifle her giggles at Ceri's description of her family. "At least it sounds like your home is never a boring one," she said, grinning. Her own home had a bit of liveliness to it as well with Kazu adopting various pets of various types.

Grinning, Ceri gave a small nod. "Yeah...and despite the fact it' always noisy, and some of the family members are constantly bickering, I don't think I'd really give it up for anything in the world..." Afterall, they were her family now.
"Shall we take a walk of sorts, or will we stand here for hours to come?" Ceri asked after a moment, with a grin. "There's a park around here."

Vasanta grinned, understanding that. Arguments here and there were common in a family. But in the end, family was family, and Vasanta would never give hers up for anything in the world.
"A walk sounds good," she agreed, and then her eyes brightened. "There's a park near here?"

Giving a small stretch, Ceri laughed as the other Mappie's eyes brightened, before she gave nod. "It's quite pretty. I go there once in a while to sit on the swing." Then, she make a motion towards the trees around them. "There are a lot of trees around the park as well...I think they're cherry trees? If that's the case, the blossoms should have bloomed by now." She could already imagine it in her head, and just thinking about it made her eager to go.
"We just have to follow this trail. The park should be a few minutes walk."

"Then let's go!" Vasanta said cheerily as he smiled at Ceri. She hadn't been to a park for a long while, and she missed playing around on the swings and walking around under the trees. Starting down the path, she stopped after a few paces and turned to make sure Ceri was coming along with her to the park.

"Indeed!" She chirped brightly, offering a smile back towards the other Mappie. She paused to take one more look around and take in the scent of the flowers around them, before quickly catching up with Vasanta. "It won't take long to get there." Even from where they were already, a small group of cherry blossom trees were visible, the pink standing out brilliantly.

Vasanta nodded, letting the other Mappie take the lead since Ceri had a better idea where this park was. "It's been such a long time since I've been able to go to the park," she commented. "But with winter and all, the swings were mostly covered in snow, and it was too cold to stay outside for too long."

"It was." Ceri agreed, with a sigh. "I remember staring out of the window as the snow fell. It was incredibly beautiful, but I longed for spring to hurry on its way." The Mappie admitted, with a laugh. "I went out only a little then. My family and I had a few days of fun in the snow, but as you said, no one could really stay out in that cold for very long."
The park indeed was close. Already, now the swings and slides were in view. Glancing back towards Vasanta, her eyes shone, and a grin appeared on her face. "Race you, Vasanta?" She asked. Hey, Ceri was always polite and the like, but she always had fun when she could.
