I'm 26. smile I'm much older than most people on Gaia, though I have met people older than me. smile Most of the people on the site are in their teens and early 20's. So, it is awkward being this age and being on Gaia, but I've met so many nice people here that it's kept me from quitting Gaia even though I often feel weird about being one of the oldest people I know on this site. redface I'll probably quit in a year or two, or once I get a job that keeps me really busy - or maybe once I'm in a serious relationship. But, for now, I enjoy Gaia. ^_^ I love designing outfits for my avi, chatting with friends, roleplaying, doing puzzles, etc.

Thanks. ^_^ Well, I'm enjoying Gaia now, and it has actually really broadened my perspective on life alot. There is so much to do on this site! Also, there's so many different guilds full of interesting people! I'm in tons of guilds (though I'm only an active member in a few of them) because there are so many different things I'm interested in. biggrin

Oh, and I thought I should explain something about my years in the Philippines. My family lived there for 8 years, and it was only in the last 3 years that I had to be in boarding school. Also, even while I was in boarding school, I still got to live with my parents for a couple months out of the year, because they were only away for a few months out of the year. If I had to estimate, I"d say that they were gone for 6 - 8 months of the year every year for those last 3 years. (So, it's not like they were gone all the time.) But I sure did miss them alot when they were gone! sad

The boarding home that my brother and I lived in was a really fun place, though. (But still, your real parents are always better than even the best dorm parents and the funnest dorm.)
