I figured that you would be; he and you are the both the funniest people that I have ever met. My God - freaking Dark Helmet MADE that movie in my opinion. Then again, I could also see you being Yoda.

How do you see me being Yoda? I am definitely evil and not quite as intelligent as everyone thinks that I am. I am Dark Helmet.... I wonder if there is a quiz on the Internet that tells you which Spaceballs character you are...

I agree. ::giggles:: And sorry. We meant the Yoda character. I am kind of retarded sometimes. Apparently, Merrin's brain is fried, too.

I think I should include a brief biography and history to the characters. This will refresh everyone's memory, and be for a future reference.
Lone Starr: The Luke Skywalker/Han Solo character. Probably a play off 'Han Solo' itself, since solo means "to go alone, oneself, on one's own". Played by Bill Pullman.
Barf: Barfolomew is a mawg. Half man, half dog. He's his own best friend. Obviously the faithful sidekick to the hero, and a play off the ever-lovable walking carpet, Chewbacca. How he got his name, I have no clue! Probably for the Barfolomew bit would be my guess. Played by the late (and very great) John Candy.
Dark Helmut: The Darth Vader character, albeit as geeky and short as he is. His oversized helmet is regarded as a symbol of power and wealth (which is what Druish princesses are attracted to), and often the causer of many a door jam. Played by Canadian born actor Rick Moranis.
Colonel Sandurz: This petty excuse for an officer is Dark Helmut's second in command of the flagship of the Spaceball fleet, and transformer, Spaceball I. He's a chicken. I think he was named so just for that joke. Played by George Wyner.
President Skroob: The leader of the Spaceball race. He foolishly squandered their planet's atmosphere and plots to steal the very air from the neighboring Druidia. Skroob is Brooks backwards. Simple neh? Played by Mel Brooks.
King Roland: Leader of the Druish peoples. Secondary character to the whole movie, so nothing is really needed to know about him. He hired Lone Starr and Barf to rescue Princess Vespa from Spaceball clutches past Jupiter 2. Played by d**k van Patten (who is no stranger to Mel Brooks films).
Princess Vespa: Daughter of Roland, King of the Druids. (Funny, she doesn't look Druish.) The heroine, and subject of kidnapping for ransom. Ran away from her wedding to the last prince in the galaxy, Prince Valium (who is constantly yawning/napping). Her name is italian for wasp, which is also an American acronym for White Anglo-Saxon Protestant. Played by Daphne Zuniga.
Dot Matrix: Princess Vespa's maid-droid. Fully equipped with virgin alram, to go off before any scoundrels who try to take advantage of the princess do, she accompanies the princess on her little trek. Named after a system of early printers. Voiced by Joan Rivers.
Yoghurt: The sage like little master of a greater magic: The Schwartz! He and his companions, the Dinks, live on the desert moon of Vega and merchandise the movie's name. With such items as Spaceballs! the lunchbox, Spaceballs! the t-shirt, Spaceballs! the coloring book (which upon closer inspection is actually a Transformers coloring book with Optimus Prime on the cover), and Spaceballs! the FLAMETHROWER! The kids love those. Probably so named for the joke where Dark Helmut says "Yoghurt! I hate Yoghurt! even with strawberries!" possibly because i think Mel himself hates yogurt. Not sure...I'll try to find that out. Played by Mel Brooks, on his knees.
Pizza the Hut: Half man, half pizza. Gangster. Making Lone Starr and Barf play one million Spacebucks "by tomorrow" or else. (Or else Pizza is gonna send out for *you*!) Voiced by Dom DeLuise.
secondary characters: Radar technician: he lost the bleeps, the sweeps and the creeps. (that's not all he lost).
Prince Valium: sleepy prince.
Commanderette Zircon: Was beamed twice by Snotty.
Snotty: Transporter chief.
Major a*****e: He's an a**hole.
Gunner's mate First Class Philip a*****e: Also an a**hole.
Dr. Schlotkin: Best nose-job man in all the galaxy and Beverly Hills.
Gretchen: Dr. Schlotkin's nurse.
Charlene and Marlene: The doublemint twins!
Vinnie: Pizza the Hutt's henchman.
Trooper in desert combing: "Man we ain't foind sh*t!" Played by Tim Russ (the stoic vulcan from Star Trek: Voyager. that's why i pointed him out)

Oh yeah, I remember. Your character analyses were quite funny. They helped me get more jokes than I did while watching the movie as many times as I did in the past.

Heh. I thought his name was spelled correctly. Fine, I am Dark Helmut if we ever do a Spaceballs roleplay. ::giggles:: And I finally got the joke about Druish noses. Haha. Druish = Jewish. Holy God. I should have gotten it when they were doing nose surgery on Princess Vespa. ::slaps his forehead:: Oh wow. Thank you, Maxia!

It ain't as big as mine. I will tell you that right now... or is that my ego talking? I loved the line, "********. Even in the future nothing works!"

"Thank you!" - said by the commander, Dark Helmut, and President Spaceballs.
By the way, does anyone know what channel "Spaceballs: The Animated Series" will be on?
