My favorite guys to pair Ino with are Chouji and Kiba, although my inner crack fangirl has been roaring for KankIno lately. ShikaIno is my least favorite, hands down. I just don't see it dramallama

I see basically most Team Asuma pairings working out (meaning between Shikamaru, Chouji and Ino. Not actually Asuma since he's with Kurenai).
Ino cares about Chouji, and as -[Neji][Hina]- has mentioned, would date him if he wasn't so chubby. But it's somewhat obvious that Ino's vain, she'd probably have to drop her high standards before she could get with Chouji.
Ino also seems to care about Shikamaru. Ino could possibly boss him around and get him to actually get his lazy bum to do something (you know, like she did before Temari came in. D=) and perhaps Shikamaru might actually get Ino's hyperactive personality to calm down. I can see them working, mainly because Ino's a lot like Temari (except better in my opinion).
(However, Ino could always go after Sasuke or Naruto while Shikamaru and Chouji got together. Although that'll never actually happen in the real anime/manga.)

That is true. Ino's not too shy about getting what she wants... but if Ino wanted Shikamaru, but she could see that Shikamaru and Temari really liked each other. I can imagine her being like that one girl from Ultra Maniac, "Just tell me if you break up, okay? But I still wish you the best!"
