she said the destruction of her village happened six years ago either right before she was born or right after she was born. help me out dagger-7328 cause i forgot

hold on, think back to disc 2. Eiko said that ten yeatrs ago, a huge storm hit the village and wiped almost everyone out, and she wasn't even born yet. Garnet/Dagger is 16, so she was 6 when it happened. she never got brainwashed, and she recalls everything after seeing then eye, madain sari, and the boat in her dreams.

If I remember correctly, Eiko's parents (and grandfather) weren't in Madain Sari at the time it was destroyed. They returned four years later when Eiko was born. this would partially account for the age discrepancy between her and Dagger.

people forget things because of shock...so the shock of it all, as it was quite a horrific time for her, would have made her block out those memories. (sorry if that sounded a bit technical but my friend studied psychology lol!)
