Seeing his acknowledge, Selene drove quickly from the parking space. She was relived to be out of the crowds, although she couldn't ease the nervous feeling she held at leading the vampire back to the den. She drove swiftly through the down-town Pest traffic, somewhat eager to return to her companions. Her chestnut eyes flickered to the rear-vision mirror, ensuring the the bike was still within view.
((Should we move to the den now?))

"No Mom I'm fine" the young woman said with a smile as she spoke into the cell phone that was pressed to her ear. "The flight was fine, and no I didn't have any trouble with finding my luggage". She grinned down the phone line once more, as she used her free hand to hail down a cab. "I have to go Mom, I'll call you if I find anything". With that she flipped the phone closed, shoving it quickly back into her pocket.
Opening the door she slipped into the cabs interior, warmly giving the driver the instructions to the address that had once belonged to her brother. Settling back into the seat, a sigh passed her lips. The flight had been a long one, and she would have gladly welcome sleep. It was her believe that her brother was still alive that was keeping her going.
Brushing a hand through her streaked lock, she closed her sapphire eyes. It had been hard enough the past few years not being able to see her brother, but it been even harder when she hadn't heard from him at all. Where are you Michael? she thought, as the cab continued to speed toward what had once been his apartment.

The cab came to a jolting stop what seemed like only mere moment later, awakening its passenger from her sleep. Alex hadn't even been aware that she had fallen asleep until now. Using the palm of her hand to rub the sleep from her eye, she was soon fishing into her pocket for the money to pay the driver. With a polite smile she shoved some pink and purple bills into his hand, unsure as to whether she was being to generous or not, and exited the cab.
With her pack nestled against her shoulder, she glanced up at the building. It seemed rather dank and run-down, but with the hours her brother had as an intern she supposed it mattered little. Walking up the front stares, her nose wrinkled in disgust at the grim left upon her hand after pushing open the door. It didn't take her long to locate the landlords apartment, and after several lengthy explanations as to whose she was and why she was there, she was granted to key to Michael's apartment.
Her foot tapped an impatient beat as she waited for the lift, her finger firmly pressing the number of Michael's floor. The elevator itself smelt rather odd, and her attention was momentarily captured by some unusual brown blotches upon the lift's floor. She didn't even want to speculate what it might be. What happened to you Michael? she thought, her concerns seeming to grow with every passing moment. As the lift's door's hissed open, her bright blue eyes widened at rather shabby patch job that greated her. It appeared as though a rather large chunck of floor had been assisted in its destruction.
Stepping around the hole, she shook her head. What the hell happened here? she found herself thinking as she continued down the hall toward what had once been Michael's apartment.
The young American girl seemed completely unaware of the voilet eyes that watched her from the stairwell. Nor did she see the glint of pearly white fangs, as the barer's lips curled into a triumphant smile.
((For those of you who bother to read this XP The reference at the end is to Erika ^^ Pain3 apologises to everyone, but she doesn't have much time for gaia and social internet use in general. She and I both agreed that it is for the best that I take control of Erika for the moment))

it had been some time sense the attack on Michael's home, Amorak wondered to himself as he quietly tagged behind Erika. he knew that if she was messing around somewhere that it would be in his best intrests to find out. for the past little while he had been keeping a very low profile, to make it seam like he had went back into hidding. however in reality he had been trying to gain information on Marcus and his coven. he had hopes that in following this young vampire that he would be able to locate something.
however he became rather conserned with the fact that she was tailing a young human. although he didnt do anything and keep to the darkness, he had already decided that if needed he would help the young woman should the vampiress decide to attack. keeping to the shadows and staying hidden in the vents of the old building he was somewhat relieved to the fact that the vents were fairly new and quite large enough for him to stay hidden.

The door to Michael's apartment creaked loudly, echoing down the hallway. A feeling of unease overcame Alex, causing her to leave the door open as she entered. "Michael?" she whispered into the darkness, still hopeful at finding her brother within. Silence only greeted her. With a sigh she walked further into the apartment, oblivious to the dark-clothed figures that hid in the darkness.
The state of the apartment offered no solace for Alex. Sections of cement from the roof lay clattered about the apartments floor, a thick layer of dust covering everything in site. Slowly Alex made her way through the few rooms of the apartment, looking for some signs of her brothers whereabouts.
Erika slinked from the darkness, unaware that she too was being watched. She didn't enter the apartment, merely leaning her lithe frame against the door frame. "You won't find him here you know" her voice slinked through the darkness as she spoke.

Aromak's eyes narrowed as he was able to hear quite well due to his lycan hearing as well as the vents somewhat increase the sound which are echoed slightly. slowly and quietly he moved ever closer still watching and very carfully moving so as not to be heard. with his ability tho climb walls he slowly pulled his way forward moving only one arm at a time. untill he was almost on top of the vampress. he layed listening and watching.

A shiver ran down Alex's spine as she heard the voice carry to her through the darkness. Making her way back to the main section of the apartment, she was shocked to see a young blonde woman standing in the doorway. "Do...you know know Michael?" she asked, a slight tremour in her voice. She stopped several feet short of the woman, something telling her that she wasn't to be trusted.
Erika smirked, still oblivious to the lycan that lay in wait above her. "Anyone who is anyone in the underworld know him" she replied, sounding as if she were saying the most simple thing in the world to the stupidest person the the world. Pushing away from the door frame she began to walk in slow circles around Alex, examining her as she went. "You look alot like him, except for the obvious differances" she continued, running a hand along Alex's shoulder as she stepped closer. Glancing into the darkness about the room, she gave the slightest of nods. With that simple action, half a dozen death dealers emerged from their hiding spots.
"Don't worry about them" she said with a giggle, "they may look tough but they won't hurt you". Moving so she stood before, she placed her hands upon her hips. "I can take you to your brother" she said, her words sounding truthful despite her lie. "Thats why they are needed" she added, motioning to the death dealers. "You and your brother are special, and there are many people who might try and hurt you. I can take you somewhere safe, the same place where your brother is" she offered, waiting to see whether her offered would be accepted.

"the only place she will take you is a place where she can lure Michael out of hidding " Aromak spoke loudly from within the vent casting his voice all around the appartment. he sent out a text message to Michael and the others in hopes that they would be able to come here quickly as possible. " if you go with them not only will you put your brother at great risk but yourself as well. do you really think that they would bring weapons in order to come and speak to you?" Aromak climbs out of the vent in a hallway then walks into the doorway leaning slightly against it. hopeing to stall them as much as possible he smirked lightly.
"You people are so low ... she is only a young woman who you are trying to exploit to get to Michael ... and i wont let you do it " he shrugs knowing that if they were to fight him they couldnt possibly win. with his clothing bullet proof and his resistance to silver, he was deffinatly a formidible foe. however he also knew that the vampires didnt know he was a Lycan Elder either.
" Michael is with my friends and I ... he has been apart of our organization for some time now ... " he smiles and holds out a picture of Michael with Selene that was taken with the security cameras. it was a close up view so the surrounds could not be made out.

"Damnit" Erika cursed under her breath at the sudden new arrival. A fake smile was soon plaster over her face once more, as she moved to stand between Alex and Amorak.
"I already said they were merely to protect you" she said, addressing her statement to Alex. "From people like him" she added, pointing a finger at Amorak. "I mean he was hiding in a vent, do you really think he would have done that unless he had something to hide?" she posed, raising an eyes at Alex.
"As for the photo" she continued, addressing one problem at a time, "how do you know that he isn't the one after your brother, and didn't get this photo by spying on him?". Her voice continued to remain calm and friendly as she spoke, inwardly confident that Alex was more likely to believe her story as opposed to Amorak's.
Alex stared at Amorak with wary blue eyes. Unconciously she took a step closer to the death dealers that had formed a half circle behind her. "H..how can I trust someone who hides in a vent?" she asked, clearly confused as to whom she should believe.
Although it was dark, Alex could still make out the figures in the photo. "Who is she?" referring to the woman in the photo with Michael. Jealousy seemed to flare within the young, as if she wondered if this woman was the reason that Michael had disappeared. "What is she to him?" she asked, trying to keep her tone conversational to hide the jealousy she felt.

with a sigh he looked back at the picture. " you would have to ask Michael what she is to him ... i took the picture with the security camera because Michael isnt very big on pictures and well i always carry a picture of my friends." he smiles as he puts the picture away." ... but as for me hidding in a vent, well with about 6 people with guns standing in a room you can trust i wouldnt want to just pop up and walk through the hallways. considering that i am just one guy and they are 7 eh?" he shrugs again and smirks
" i've been tailing this young lady for a little while now " he says motioning over to Erika " and why would they need 6 armed people to protect against one or maybe to people hmm? dont you think thats a little over board?" Aromak glances over at the guards. "but i suppose i could have used better tactics like hidding in the appartment waiting for you to show up ... "
casting a cold stare at Erika " they are only here to force you incase you refuse to come willingly. which is the only reason i had showed up ... was because i feared for your safty" he nods in agreememt with what he had said and cast a smirk. " all i know is that if you do go with them your brother and yourself will be in terrible danger ... now that they know who you are they are never going to leave you alone untill they get both you and your brother... i'll bet you didnt know that one of thier leaders nearly killed michael in a dissagreement hmm?" he cast a glance over to Erika, knowing that everything he was saying was true. Vicktor did almost kill Michael had Selene not steped in.

Alex shook her head, indicating that she didn't know that the leader of the soldiers had nearly killed her brother. In all honesty however she didn't even know that the leaders were meant to be leaders of. With each passing moment she only seemed to grow more confused.
A voice from the corridor startled her, causing her to jump slightly. Her hand tightened around her pack, the other arms she crossed over herself. All she wanted was to find her brother, and her feelings at being in a new place and alone were becoming rapidly overwhelming. When the face offered her a warm smile, she felt herself release her guard slightly.
As the man walked closer, she seemed to feel herself relax and become more at ease with every step he took. His words were sweet in her ear as he spoke, her eyes moving from Erika to Amorak. The words that spilled from his lips touched a cord, and the emotions that she had been trying to hold back, burst forth. Tears began to flow from her eyes, cascading onto the floor. She didn't know whether to be angry at her brother and his new 'friends' or to feel sorry for herself for having come such a long way when it seemed clear Michael didn't care.
With a great racking sob she threw her arms around Marcus, burrowing her head into his shoulder. She didn't even know now if she wanted to see her brother, and knew for certain that she didn't want to meet the woman with whom he was photographed. "I don't want to be here anymore" she choked out between sobs.
