Negima?! lol

I'm upto episode 20, so far I like it, the art makes up for the first anime stressed
Sure some of the story is a bit lame, I won't go into too much detail incase I spoil it for some. But overall I prefer anything Negima to nothing! whee

I prefer the original simply because Its what followed the manga more.... Lover of the manga I am so Remakes are not that appealing to me.
And Am I the Only One who Started Reading that Negima!? Neo that I believe only just recently came out?

I own part 1 of Negima!? along with the OVAs (which Funi put under Negima!? when they should be under Negima! )
The dub is much better this time around, I love the Baka ranger bits hello they have there own theme song now
The story it self suck, the new manga spin off for it, is very well done I think at least better then the anime.
I say fans will like it a little bit more then the first anime, it shows off more people's pactio cards and character traits better

I think its better than Mahou Sensei Negima in some ways. The art style is more intricate and the backgrounds are more involved with the foreground, more active. There are scenes that get more use out of the possibilities of animation that MSN just didn't think to take advantage of. The Mass-Pactio scene, for example, is at the same time chaotic and structured. I also really like the Pani Poni Dash-ish absurdity combined with the directing style of the best parts of Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase.
The characters seem more like individuals but at the same time, not all of them are realistic, almost parodies of Akamatsu and staff's designs. The way the cheerleaders do pretty much everything in sync, Mana cleaning guns during class, Satomi happening to have a body heat detection device, Chizuru teasing Natsumi. They seem more complete and like they're there because they should be, not because fans would send angry letters if every last girl wasn't accounted for. Even Nagi. In MSN, it seemed like Negi forgot his quest to meet his father right after telling Asuna about it, but on N!?, it was always fresh in the viewers' minds. It was a life's ambition rather than something he stumbles onto to help make the last episodes seem more like a conclusion.
Some of the things I disliked about the dub are better this time around, notably Ku-Fei and Zazie's voices. Konoka's seems less exaggerated too. Even Chamo sounds more like a small animal who happens to be a smoking pervert instead of like a smoking pervert who happens to be a small animal. Though I have to say, the Japanese Baka Rangers Theme beats the English Dummy Force Theme and 1000% Sparking is less goofy in Japanese. Ah-Li-Ya is about the same, though.
Magic is more important in itself rather than just something Negi can't let people see, which seemed to fall by the wayside in MSN when he wasn't fighting anyone with it. The way Negima!? has Negi getting caught and having to make Pactios with anything with lips and eyes is, oddly enough, more faithful to Akamatsu's manga than the first anime, despite being based on a different book. Its kind of funny how Negi uses magic for more everyday things like catching a clumsy girl and dentistry.

Hell, to be frank, about the only things Negima! has that Negima!? lacks is silly harem anime charm and that ultra-cool clock chime tune they played a lot during the Evangeline arc.

Well, I can say with confidence that while I have things I like and dislike about all the OVAs and animes, my love for the manga will never falter. =_=
