The way I see it, is everyone isn't alike. Everyone's brain weren't created the same, nor were we all brought up in the same environments which can aspire certain talents. If I look at myself- I think of myself as a creative person. I can draw, I can write- I can use my creativity and imagination well. I can deal with the fantastical and the abstract.

Yet some people can't do that. I can look at building and see how I would draw it. Lines and shapes and textures and colors. Yet another person may look at the same building and look at how it was made- what materials. And another person may look at it and see mathematical equations and angles.

Stick me in a chemistry or math lab- I'll feel really stupid and useless. I'm not saying I'm bad at science or math (I just may loath the later), I just don't them. I'm not interested in them, I have no passion for them. So other people may have no passion for drawing, no passion for creating things- at least artistically.

We as individuals work and emphasize on things we like. I do believe everyone can draw- despite talent or experience. Art is more of an acquired trait. Though I can believe certain people were born with natural talent, but art is something you have to train. You have to train your eye to see things, you have to train your brain to think certain ways, you have to train your hand. And not everyone has trained in that way.

So simply put- I can understand why people don't want to draw and draw what they see. They don't like it. Either because it has no interest to them, or because they just never trained themselves to be able to do it well. Therefore they can't do it, it does not come easily to them, and so that frustrates them and therefore- once again dislike the activity. Same can be applied to me with math, however my roommate loves math and will willingly do math on her own accord (I think she's insane).
