Dragoness Arleeana They believe in all the supposed prophets of God, which is kind of cool. They believe that all religions have the same goal and message if you go to the core of them and they therefor believe that all religions are correct and equal. Cosmic.

The Resurrection Angel No More The Resurrection Angel No More To anyone of any religious values if this upsets you I am sorry..however. Christians, normally get upset because they believe their god to be all good and holy and the only god out there. They want to follow him while have their own backgrounds. Catholics, well they have more of a spiritual background but they still believe in God, Jesus, and the holy spirit, along with other spirits. As far as that since my mother use to be in those religions that is what I've seen. When I became a witch I had to sit down and make her see what it was I was doing, or else...well..you can see how that would have went. What does surprise me is that this subject is just coming up now. But I guess in time you'll come to terms with the stupid looks, and comments people may give you. As long as it doesn't sway your beliefs, everything is fine. Why do you draw distinction between Christian and Catholic? Because such is what I've seen. In many aspects they are the same, in many ways they are not. For instance, if you were to say, I believe in spirits in some Catholic schools or churches, they wouldn't really put you down. Christian's however, many of them, if you did so they'd say there's just God, and Jesus, and they may say the Holy Ghost. Anything other then that is demonic. And yes, I've gotten these responses before, hell my school wanted to expel me because I stood up for witches, which, at the time I was going to the Christian school because my mother was Christian. So I'm speaking from experience. I'm not saying ALL people or like this or whatever, but some of them can be. You do realize that Catholicism is a branch of Christianity, right? Oh I do.

People like that are all close minded idiots and believe that if you don't believe in what they believe then there's something wrong with you and that you're going to rot and burn in hell for all eternity. it's a sad sad situation

Actually tho it may be a branch of Christianity there is a huge division between the two. ^_^;;
My friends mom is a huge catholic and I made the wrong assumption cause after seeing 30 crosses in a house you need to ask, So I guess you are Christian. She then proceeded into a rant explaining though it may be the main religion that they branched off of it is still different.
So catholics get offended by being called Christians and Christians are offended by being called catholics.
(Not all of em just a majority.) sweatdrop

And as someone who was raised Roman Catholic in a generally Catholic environment surrounded by other Catholics, your generalization is grossly inaccurate.

I'm here assuming that you are from USA, Grey. The main relition there is protestant christianity, which in actuality branched off from the catholic church, not the other way around. Catholicism is without any kind of doubt part of christianity, and, no offense to the mother of your friend, she's probably just one of those "holier than thou" people.

I must side with Grey here. People who don't wish to acknowledge that Catholics are a branch off of Christians get hugely offended when you call them something different. You may know that they are branched, and they may too but that doesn't mean they will respect it nor accept it.

You can't take a liar seriously because they're a liar and you never know when they're actually telling the truth. A fool is always joking or not being, well, serious and someone who is never serious can never be taken seriously. If you can't take someone seriously then there is no way you can ever have a decent conversation with them because they will either A) make something up to prove themselves right (a liar) or B) not even care enough to be serious (a fool) get it? (I am right in assuming that's what you meant, correct?)

People do not trust the words of fools and liars because for one reason or another they have a tendency towards being incorrect.

Nonono. NonononoNOno. NOnoNO. Let me explain it to you. Abrahamic Faiths: Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Baha'i (I forget where the apostrophe goes). Major Christian Groups: Catholicism, Orthodox, Protestantism (Protestant is an umbrella term referring to the many groups that branched off from the Catholic Church during the Reformation. The three major Protestant groups were Lutheranism, Calvinism, and Anglicanism. Now we have a hundred or more Protestant denominations, which mostly branched off from one of those three, or from Catholicism later.) Anyway, both Catholics and Protestants are Christian. When you say "Christianity," Angel No More, that's incorrect. You MEAN Protestantism, I'm fairly sure. What would get a Christian offended would be calling a Protestant a Catholic, not calling a Catholic a Christian. ^_^

If I am reading this wrong and you don't mean it as an insult then I apologize in advance but your overall tone seems quite rude.
