Sarah followed him up to the door like a lost puppy, the worried expression persisting on her round features. She stopped short of the door, not wanting to intrude on a room she wasn't supposed to be in. She glanced back at the gold watch on the counter, and walked over to pick it up. She cradled it in her fingers and silently slipped it into her pocket. She fished three gold and a piece of paper out of her pocket.
I'll send the peaches over to your shop. I'm sorry for breaking your clock Mr. Jagun. and next to it had drawn a lopsided unhappy face. She silently stared at the door that Jagun had disappeared. Sarah was unsure if there was anything else she should do out of curtousy. She walked back to the counter and placed another gold piece next to her first three.
An extra gold just for you. Thank you for troubling yourself with me. she added on to the bottom of her note.
