Pretty sure it was.
And when she's first introduced in the anime, she's listed as "Liza Hawkeye", but they still call her Riza throughout the rest of the series. Icons from LiveJournal...somwhere.

^ You're right.
First ep of the dubbed anime she was in, her first name was spelt "Liza".
Also, the earliest scanlation group that did FMA used Liza.

In the 9th book when Al comes into the room Ed says 'Geez, Ed! You scared the crap outta me!'
In the 10th book, instead of Dublith they say Dabriss.
In the 11th book, Ed calls Hohenheim 'Van Hohenheim'. I have no idea why he says 'Van'. ._.
In the 6th book, it says that the State Alchemist pocketwatch is gold, whereas everywhere else it is silver.
In the 1st book when Ed checks his watch, it doesn't say 'Oct 3, year 11. Don't forget'. I don't know if he adds that in later, I just felt like pointing it out.
In one of the books, Winry calls Riza 'Liza'. Is Riza's full name Elizabeth or Elizarizabeth or what?
Ling changes to Lin and Mai Chan changes to May Chang.
Of course I still love the series, it's just that I've read them all so many times I've been able to spot a lot of stuff ;D

That's because that's his real name in the manga, it's like that in scantilations, too. Van is actually his first name, and Hohenheim being his last. Trisha and Van Hohenheim were never married in the manga.

o.o Weird... I didn't know that...
I've only bought up to #9, and they spell Havoc's name 'Jan' instead of 'Jean' I was angry. They also screw up alot of things too, but I just what they were at the moment.
Yes, they said 'gold' watch in the 1st book at Youswell but everywhere else it's 'silver'. that made me upset too. mad Grr... I want to get the other books, and read all the stupid mistakes they made, and look on here and read them again... hehe... I like FMA though, but those little things just kinda tick me off. Not like RAWR I'M GUNNA KILL YOU ALL mad, but just a little annoyed.

ooc| I noticed the Jan and the Liza, the scanlations and the official translations make mistakes. In one of the scanlated chapters Bucanneer is called Bucanni and Miles is called Lieutenant.

So that's why there are so many screw-ups with words. I thought I was thinking the wrong information. sweatdrop
If that's the case, then is it Ishbalans or Ishvarlans(found Ishvarlans in the second volume of the manga). I'm so confused. gonk

Finally I caught mistakes (because I went back and reread it through though)
First: Kimbley=RED LOTUS ALCHEMIST?!??!?! WTH?!?!
2nd: (waaaaay back in Vol 2 or something...I'm rereading cuz I'm bored....can't believe I missed some of those extras) Lior=Reore???
