Yes but you NEED miracles to have a proper relationship with Christ.
You could never truly understand how absolutely hilarious you are for this statement. Well, Perhaps you can, as I will be sourcing verses that say the exact opposite of it...when I get home from work, anyway.

Settle down seriously. =/

You really make big issues out of nothing.
I'm an EDer. What do you expect? If you're going to spout inaccuracies, I will correct you. Deal with it.

I'm saying it funny cause so many people think satanism is occultism, that ALL i was saying,
Satanism is part of the occult... What makes you think it is not? That it is atheistic?

Type Text Here
I think it was funny that they choose the name satanism, because so many people think it something it not. I know it a metaphor.
Then congratulations, you've failed to note the point of calling it such. Shock factor + metaphorical meaning.

Type Text Here
Once more, I'm just saying it a stupid choice of words. =[ It always kind of confused me why it the occult for the real satanic thing, and satanism for the soft and fuzzy do as you will. Thing. =/
Real Satanic thing? You mean the pejoritave meaning it held before Anton LaVey made it an actual organized religion? You mean the newer theistic sects that make up a minority of Satanists?

Type Text Here
Fluffy satanism? You serious? I didn't get in deep but there was nothing fluffy about it, spread rituals so the demons only hurt you fractionally to that of who you cursed. Body possession for communication purpose. That stuff is heavy.
Sounds fluffy to me. You don't seem to understand what the term "fluffy" means in pagan religions though, do you? Fluffy usually pertains to someone who claims to practice a pagan religion but knows nothing about it except from what they've heard from fictional resources. Demon-conjuring spiteful I-want-to-kill-my-family-'cause-they-don't-understand-me types are fluffy. I have never heard of a non-fluffy theistic Satanist who conjures up demons to possess anyone (most don't believe in possession), nor have I heard of theistic Satanists who only summon to harm people.

Type Text Here
I'm glad I didn't go too deep. =/ And got out safely. I hope. :s
You were never in. You were a fluffy bunny.

I never said they only harmed. But I didn't think anyone would like to hear about all the mind altering spells. To make you happy, or lucky, or any of that crap my friend casted on me. (She was the reason I ever got into the occult) That stuff, is not scary, but the deeper stuff is, like the creepy boards, with the moving and the spelling, of stuff that scary, and the whole feeling of coldness in the room. That the stuff that scares me. They did stuff, and made me do stuff that was horrible, like this whole spread the negative effects of curse amongst a lot and screw up someone you don't like... =( Like the time they cursed this guy and he crashed and died two days later. I guess it could of been a coincident... but it was still scary.

Your definition of the "occult" is not the definition of the occult. The occult, while it can involve spirituality, simply means "hidden" or "hidden knowledge." Magic and the likes are often employed. Satanism is part of the occult.

So you don't really understand the history of Satanism. Great. Then kindly refrain from pretending like you do. Your "real" Satanism was merely a pejorative. The first organized religion to call themselves "Satanists" was LaVey's brand. The atheistic brand.

Ouija boards? Ouija boards are not Satanic, dearest. Those operate off of the subconcious, not some spiritual intervening.

Quote:
The motion of the planchette is explained by the ideomotor effect. A typical session with the board has two or more people touching the planchette with at least one hand each, so that no single person need apply much force in order for the group as a whole to cause it to move. Each person experiences the illusion that the planchette moves under its own power.

Skeptic and magician James Randi, in his book An Encyclopedia of Claims, Frauds, and Hoaxes of the Occult and Supernatural, points out that when blindfolded, Ouija board operators are unable to produce intelligible messages.[5] Magicians Penn & Teller performed a similar demonstration in an episode of their television show Bullshit! in which the operators moved the planchette into what they thought was the positions of "yes" and "no" without knowing that the board was turned upside-down, which caused them to move the planchette into blank spaces on the board.

Those who believe Ouija boards can be used to make actual contact with the spirit world feel that the act of hindering a medium’s ability to use his or her own eyes while the board is in use effectively places too great of a handicap on the whole exercise (see ad hoc hypothesis). (This argument stems from the belief that contacted spirits actually utilize the eyes of the medium during a Ouija session in order to point to the letters and words needed to form a message. Most believers of this notion believe that the board has no intrinsic power in and of itself, but rather, is used simply as a tool to aid a medium while in communication with the spirit world.)[6]

If you regretted it, it shouldn't have done anything in the first place. Did you want to destroy that person when you did your "curse?"

If, for whatever reason, you were actually doing the Satanic destruction ritual, I would not be surprised if something happened. I did a destruction ritual, and much to my delight, the lad I'd aimed it at got in a car accident. Though, ritual is mostly for one's own emotions. If something external does happen, regret typically does not follow.

Occult =/= scary. Hence, it should not be "funny" nor inappropriate that it is considered a part of the occult. Also, you asserted that it was not a part of the occult, absolutely. You have been proven wrong. Concede.

Type Text Here

Ja. I know that a lot of younger people who try to get into whatever misconstrued idea of Satanism or the occult profess some belief in the "divine" powers of a ouija board, but really, there's nothing horrible about them. They are delightfully entertaining at a young age, of course, because you never think you're moving the thing... Had one when I was young (and Catholic, woo hoo). My mother made me get rid of it just around the time I was becoming UBER CATHOLIC WOMAN baah da paaahhh~! So I broke it, and started it on fire. ^_^; ...yep.

Type Text Here
That's because your heartless. Feeling regret for killing someone indirectly is possible. It called human emotion.
In a destruction ritual, the person you aim it at should not be someone that you will regret harming should anything happen to them as a result of your ritual or merely by coincidence after a ritual. You go into a destruction ritual only to destroy something you hate enough that you passionately desire that this thing or person cease existing. I am not heartless--I am performing destruction rituals as they are meant to be performed, and seeing desirable results. Human emotion encompasses bitterness and hatred as well as regret. Had I liked the person, I would have felt at least some regret that he winded up in the hospital with a punctured lung and four broken ribs, but I did not. I hated him, and I still hate him.

i looked at the Joy of Satan website. it made me laugh.
Me too, burny... Me too.

We were counting the fallacies on seperate pages of the site in my quest thread. ^_^

the one that made me laugh the most was the one that talked about how Jesus committed all of the seven deadly sins.

but the sad thing is people buy into that garbage.
Want to see something reeaallly funny? The United Satanic Empire of Canada. Mmhm. They're dumbshits who think that Wicca = paganism + Christianity.

Which is like saying that red = warm colour + blue.

Kay...
And their website.

I've tried to make them a video response, but I can't not laugh in my responses. ><; That, and they've blocked me for pointing out that, you know, Wicca is an innitiatory fertility cult, and paganism is any non-Abrahamic religion, hence paganism and Christianity cannot exist all wrapped up together, given their definitions.

So funny... I love YouTube.

Despite my rants about Satanism, the most flames I've ever gotten was for going off on some kid on American Idol who I dislike... All of his 14 year old buddies hopped on and started calling me ugly, accusing me of eating cheetos, and being a drunken Irishwoman 'cause all Irish people are drunkards 'n all...

Because of said blockage.

Why does stupidity enrage me so? I can't resist, and just ignore it because it doesn't concern me...

Only it does because they've stolen my religion's statements, given them a theistic twist, and completely rode against said statements.

I don't like people like that. ^_^;

Ok... reading this even annoyed me, and I don't have all that great of spelling... but why do that to tick someone off? You act like you WANT to be disliked, and I find that very madening. Your not just peeving Priate off. Trust me. I wished I could virtually slap you a few times. It seems your just treading on thin water, and you don't even know it. Sometimes I just want to ask you how old you are.

I'm sure it's more of an issue of maturity than age, but whatever. While I'm not the type to simply let bygones be bygones, I've been asked to tone it down just a bit by Shawty and am willing to respect his wishes. Online, I am rather short tempered, which is actually surprisingly contrary to my character offline. If Type wants to continue being immature and failing to debate properly, all the while claiming that he has respectfully conceded when he has only offered snark comments like "Yes Pirate, you're always right. You win." then so be it. I will consider him a psychic vampire and no longer pay him any mind.

=o That was on purpose, like a week ago. It was when I was angry at her for correcting my spelling -- Grammar nazing. However you'd put it. Annoys me a lot. So I was having a bit of pay back. Immature yes. I'll drop it tho', it was just anger. I mean hell you where calling me stupid and immature anyway, so I thought I'd just play the part.
