"Oh... well I guess that's not very surprising. She seems to be rather quiet and shy." Brychan too, hoped that the hinds would get along, but then... that wasn't up to him. They would be together for the rest of the season, and then Brychan would go back to his duties as an outrider, and the ladies would go back to their own thing. Whether or not that included calving.
But yes.. he had chosen her. Brychan seemed to have a good eye for hinds, or atleast he would like to think so.

Hm. Quiet and shy. Well, that would be fine with Talyn, who was not exactly either. If they didn’t get along, they would only have to be together until the end of Anlach. After that, they could go back to doing their own thing, whatever it happened to include. Hmm… this Loreena, as Brychan’s first, was probably his favorite. Talyn was ok with that. A small harem, with someone else as a favorite. Yes, that would work. It would allow her some privacy and yet still allow her some time with Brychan. It wasn’t as if she was a particularly demanding hind. Or she didn’t think of herself as such.
And, once again, if it didn’t work, it would only last until the end of the season. That was the nice thing about Anlach. If things didn’t work out, there was always next season. “Hmm… so, you’ve got the quiet and shy Loreena and me, who is usually the opposite… this should be interesting.”
Talyn had a habit of making things interesting. It was just something that happened.

He would be sure to give each of his ladies as much time as he could, in equal increments. But yes.. there was usually a favorite, and likely the first to come along. Granted... that could easily change, but who knows.
An amused look was given her way as Brychan listened before giving his reply, "Interesting indeed... I look forward to it." What's life without a little spice? It seemed that Talyn was more than willing to give that bit of spice to their lives. Hopefully he would have some handsome calves from the both of them as well.

“Indeed.” Talyn was silent for a few moments before she got a new idea. “Race you there! I’ve got no idea where we’re going, but I’ll race you there anyway!” That sentence basically caught her whole approach towards life in general. She wasn’t sure where it was heading, but she would try to make it as much fun for herself---and, occasionally, others---as possible because a boring life wasn’t worth living. Not waiting for an answer, she broke into a swift run, knowing that Brychan would probably beat her in this little race, but, once again, not caring.
It wasn’t who got there first that really mattered. It was the getting there.

The starry stag blinked a few times at the hind's proclamation of a race. Now wait a minute.. that wasn't exactly fair! As she took off, he stood there in confusion for a moment or so before bounding after her. He wasn't the fastest in the herd, as great bulk and antlers tend to weigh one down, but he raced after her anyhow. She would likely win this race though.
The stag laughed just the same, clearly in high spirits as he now had two claimed hinds in which to protect from the other stags, and he would do his best do to just that.
