lostxprincess *wiggles in excitment* im happy theres finally a somehwhat date thingy so i know when to save about $20 for the day it comes out.. and im hoping it's nothing like GAOG (no offense to those who like it). yet with the way he described his new album it did seem like some of the songs may be emo which makes me wanna go emo because i dont like emo music (haha, if that makes any sense...) I am worried it's gonna be like GAoG also. From the song titles it doesn't sound like it's going to be like GAoG or like his other albums. It sounds more... gothic?

The only thing I liked about GAoG was the millitary style. I heart millitary clothes. heart This album will probably have a twisted Alice in Wonderland feel cause of Phantasmagoria.

I saw that yesterday, the myspace thing that is. I was really shocked that he finally got a myspace account... I thought he was against it. Of course that might have just been a rumor. [: I'm not sure I like the new song yet, but I have a feeling it's going to grow on me. ^^; And I'm totally excited 'bout the new album. biggrin

Also 'emo' vocalists would never say anything about "...so soft and so tragic as a slaughterhouse you pressed the knife against your heart..." because they never use metaphors, similes or analogies because to put it bluntly thier ignorance and whining get in the way of them doing so.

`P i n k It sounds more... gothic? Definately and i love it. I could tell it would be when i read on The Heirophant that "If I Was Your Vampire" was The New "Bela Lugosi's Dead" and for anyone who is into the 'Gothic Genre' has heard of that song and knows it's significance, but i'll say it anyway. The Bauhaus song Bela Lugosi's Dead was the first hit single in the genre which also helped define it.
