>> Only the blackest of heartsVictoria nodded her head, both as a sign of gratitude and answering the question with a yes. She sat down across from him, finishing the last bit of the plain and tasteless toast, licking her fingers of the crumbs and brushing her shirt and skirt of the toast’s last remnants, taking out her notebook and writing down some various lines, occasionally pausing to think of another rhyme.
“You think our teachers will attempt to pile up work on the first day?” she asked, although she already knew the response. Some of their teachers were dictators at heart, and yet nobody had ever thought to fire them…The female Allerdyce sighed to herself, writing down a few more lines of her poem before she looked up at Dante.
“I know you probably won’t care, but could you tell me what you think of this song?” she asked, sliding the notebook over to him, where a variety of blackened doodles surrounded a cursive poem, the title reading “Demise of Eternity”.
Enter flame –the skies are dark, Running mortals; fish from the shark. The reaper’s coming from behind, Sent to graves and free of mind. The cities in ruins and lives tragically lost, All must pay the ostentatious cost. Mankind’s downfall is taking place, By inferno, by gunfire, by swinging mace, By euthanasia, by illness, by termination, No man alive will find his salvation. From their lives they’ll have release, But will they really rest in peace? Destruction spreads across the street, Decease and downfall you’ll all meet. From your birth, your mother’s womb, You’ll be heading to the tomb… Death is coming and nobody knows, When the dark red curtains close. The end is coming, the end is near, Take it calmly, or will you fear? Scythe’s last swing, a sneak attack, Last human departed – fade to black. ((yeah, I just sat there and wrote that out)) Can feel the purest of love <<

'Note to self: stop before you get to the door,' the girl thought as she rubbed her nose with a wince. The girl must've been going break-neck speed as she dashed through the hallways. Twice she almost hit a teacher and three times she narrowly missed antoher student. Class clown or notoriously late for class, she had a million alias's. Then the girl came to a screeching halt as an ominous sound rumbled. That evil sound was coming somewhere from her stomach. She hissed to herself and put a pale hand to her stomach.
"I FORGOT BREAKFAST!!" she yelled, making everyone stare as she turned on her heal and dashed into the cafeteria, no shame. Red and blonde streaked past students in line as she easily slithered her way through and nabbed a muffin and a drink. Unfortunately, fate did not smile on our lonely jester and her untied shoelaces decided to take revenge on our pour misguided heroine.
"WAH!!" Charlie screeched and landed on the floor with a graceful "THUD". Muffin and apple juice went flying. Again, unfortunately for the little sophomore girl, the food did not land on the floor. It landed on a wonderfully looking steriod-pumped jock. The cafeteria fell very quiet as Charlie gathered herself, not noticed the fuming boy in a letterman's jacket until a large shadow was thrown over her form. Uh-oh...

>> Only the blackest of hearts"Thank you," Victoria said, nodding her head as she took the book back from Dante and looked it over, drawing lines of division every six lines, leaving four lines towards the end to be the closing stanza. She turned around briefly to view the chaos occurring on the other side of the cafeteria, but saw it did not really effect her, and started humming to herself - writing down the chorus to her song to occur at each of the divisions. She tapped the end of the pencil on the table, creating a bit of a rap-style for the first three stanzas. She bit her tongue, ripping out a piece of paper and started drawing music lines, writing out a style of rap, a style of slow rock, and the chorus... "Chaos is rising, death in the air, The evil and darkness is all left to care, and all that is good and loved cannot be shared, So the true question is who will be spared?" ... she sung, whispering loudly for the first two lines while the second returned to a quieter, but still dark, metal-esque tune. She nodded to herself, writing the words down and the corresponding notes on the other page idly before looking back up at Dante. "Oh, sorry - I tend to forget that I am with other people sometimes," she said nervously, rubbing the back of her head in slight embarrassment. Can feel the purest of love <<

>> Only the blackest of hearts"What would history be without revolution? Were we to choose never to revolt against our leaders, some of the..." Victoria paused, looking for a word aside from "greatest" or anything synonymous to use for the nations that came to her mind, "Powerful - the most of powerful nations may not be around today," she concluded, nodding her head in approval of her choice of wording. Victoria hummed the music she had written in her book for a few more moments, tapping her pencil against the table during the parts where she wanted to have her drums played. It's quite nice sitting here with him casually... she thought, abruptly stopping what she was doing to look up at him.
"Dante," Victoria began, although faltered for a moment before looking back up at him with some confidence in her gaze, "I was thinking of playing for the upcoming dance and... I umm... I needed somebody to... sing, as I can only do the synthesizer and computer instruments... but a lot of this is screaming, and my voice doesn't really fit that so well, nor does it really do whispering. I can do the actual singing parts, but... I was wondering if maybe, if you weren't going to go with somebody already, if you could perhaps help me?" she realized she was stuttering as she asked, but she really couldn't help herself. If one were to take away all the music technicalities in her question, she would essentially be asking him to go to the dance with her. Can feel the purest of love <<

The class clown was corned between a brick wall and a very hard-chested jock. Things looked very grim. The girl laughed nervously and searched her pockets frantically. Her eyes lit up as she found what she was looking for. Taking out of her pocket a deck of red and black checkered cards the girl grinned and fanned them out in front of her, displaying the playing cards back to his eyes.
"Care to play a friendly game, mate?" she asked with that secret smile. The jock looked puzzled for a moment before he glared at the cards, as if thinking strenuously. "Here's how it works: You pick a card and shuffle it in the deck, without me seeing it. I'll fan the cards out again, without looking, and I'll pick your card," Charlie told him. The jock looked from her hidden eyes to the cards and stepped forward. He picked one card as Charlie looked away and then he took the cards and then shuffled it in the deck.
The girl took the cards back and fanned them out. "Then...," she began, "I do this!" she shouted and threw them up, the jock's eyes following the cards. Charlie grinned and slipped away, holding his card, the Ace of Diamonds.

>> Only the blackest of hearts"Ah, you don't have t-to say it like that, Victoria muttered, feeling that if she were a bit more inclined to ask men out, this would probably be when she confessed her feelings for Dante. However, it was not in her nature, so she said nothing more, glancing vaguely over at the mishap occurring on the other side of the cafeteria before looking down at her book again, "I can run this down to the copier, so you can try and learn it and all. I suppose we'll have to practice also, but we can work on that a bit closer to the date..." she mumbled, now talking more to herself then to her crush (again), clicking her tongue as she jotted somethings down in her notebook.
((sorry that took a while - I wasn't really sure what was left to say... we need more character intervention... or a time skip)) Can feel the purest of love <<
