His bright blue eyes followed her gaze. "I've only seen... Sesilida..." At that, he lowered his head a bit. The truth was he had not seen her in some hours, as preoccupied as he had been with Anlach. He should not have left her alone. Actually, the bull couldn't recall the last time he had left his sister alone for so long. Even in captivity, he always liked to stay nearby.

"Is it normal for a herd to spread itself so thin?" The white bull pawed at the ground. Not seeing anyone else made him a bit nervous. He would have at least liked to keep them in sight, incase something happened.

(It's ok. sweatdrop I got a bit distracted myself, as you can see. I'll try to reply a bit sooner next time.)

Blitzen exhaled, white plumes of breath curling upwards from her face as she pondered on an answer. Being this scattered wasn't normal in the slightest, espeacially since the herd was still kind of new to the area and its occupants. However, she had just been returning from patrol (and she was one who normally went far out and away from the herd to skirt the very borders), and so it wasn't like she normally saw much of her kin during the day anyways...though that could be said differently for Glosoli, she thought, considering his sister.

"They're probably all gathered together in another location. I've been far off patroling anyways," she replied, finally. Her voice showed nothing in the form of nervousness or the like...though deep within her said feeling was starting to bud.

The cow was about to fall silent for a moment when she remembered something the bull said a little earlier. "Where is Sesilida?" She asked, tilting her head lightly to the side.

((o-o; not very well written, sorry.))

"She was... in a field the last time I saw her." The bull shifted uncomfortably. The thought of Sesilida all by herself was making him more and more uncomfortable. What had he been thinking? Yes, there were others around to protect her, but he was her brother. He ought to have stayed close to her. "Patrolling, yes... maybe we had both better get back to that?"

Blitzen blinked and nodded her head lightly in confirmation while looking out into the trees, a look flicking across her golden eyes that was full of thought, despite how quickly it came and gone. A few seconds passed and the cow blinked again before drawing in breath and returning her gaze to the white bull, as if she hadn't been just staring like moon-struck owl mere seconds before.

"Yes...we should get back to that...Actually, you should really get back to Sesilida. I don't like the chances of her being alone, and the borders have been partolled long enough."

As Blitzen gazed off into the trees, Glosoli thought for a moment that she might have seen or smelled a Lera. But the moment passed quickly, leaving Glosoli a bit shaken.

"Yes, yes... I probably should." The white bull turned to depart, but looked over his shoulder at her. "I hope I have the chance to talk to you again soon, Blitzen."

The tough cow let one of her half smile/half-smirks cross her maw before she bowed her head. Upon lifting it, silver bells tinkling lightly as she did so, she replied in her husky voice, "as do I."

With that she turned heel and cantered back up the path she had come down earlier, and then veered off to the left with her head held high in the normal stiff manner of her race while bells jingled evenly with each step.
