Serenity was used to the questions about where her parents were, and used to lying about them being on a bussniess trip. Aysel would have seen right through it anyways. "I guess so."

"Would you like to stay at my place? We have plenty of extra rooms," Aysel smiled. I wonder if this girl is like me? she thought to herself.

Aysel lead Serenity out of the store and on the way to her aunt's mansion. She kept on wondering if Serenity had a home in the first plae and was like her.
"Hey, Serenity? I was ust wondering, do...have odd things happen to you lately?" Aysel asked timidly

She looked up at Aysel. "Odd things happen all of the time." She said. Serenity negeleted to tell Aysel of her amisha, but Serenity was unaware of it herself. The little girl stopped in her tracks. She looked at her refection in a pond. Her reflection looked only a little taller than her, it looked older to Serenity too. She had only one solution for it. "Its my mommy!" SPLASH! She jumped into the pond.

"Are you okay?" Aysel asked, wondering if Serenitydidn't know her own reflection nor her mother.

Her head broke the surface. "Shes not here...Mommy was here a few seconds ago..." She climbed out of the pond. Serenity looked at the pond. "There she is again!" She wanted to jump in to find her mommy, but didnt. "She'll disaper again, like always..."

Aysel wlalked beside the girl, revealing her reflection. As plain as always she sighed as she examined her reflection.
"Actually, that's you, and my you look pretty. Much better then my plain old look. I guess you never knew your mother, did you?" she asked in a gentl voice.

"All of those times, it was me?" Serenity looked up at Aysel. This wasnt the first time she mistaken her own refection for her mommy. She shook off the dripping water like a dog all over the people around them, execpt for Aysel. "I dont know my mommy. I just woke up three weeks ago all by myself." That was the day her powers sufaced, causing her to lose her memory.

Aysel nodded and lead Serenity to her aunts mansion. It was huge but instead of heading towards it, Aysel lead Serenity onto a little trail.
"I live in a house a come yards away, not with my aunt. Neither of us could last a week in that mansion.
