"Legal or not, your actions are disrupting the sanctity of my home. I would kindly request that you either cease the nonsense that has caused the disruption, or move it elsewhere." Raina stopped to survey what, exactly, the disturbance was, and Ghost took the opportunity to jump to her shoulder and stretch across both of them, her hair forming a veil so that all that could be scene was his head and tail. A small frown of disapproval pulled at the edges of her lips, but she said nothing as she turned to look at the man who had spoken to her. "The fact that I am the gaurdian of this stretch of both forest and border gives me the right to ask this of you."

Karine ignored the two talking and got out of the water soaking wet. She helped the man who had pushed her up but once he was standing he slapped her across the face. Karine sighed and walked away before he could attack her again. She wondered why people felt that the had to provoke her to where she could not control her powers. Karine walked back and sat on the ground staring out at the lake.

>> Only the blackest of hearts"And I but stand guard of the water boarders, and all that we may do does not disrupt your forest for we have done nothing on your side - should you truly want to keep us from disrupting your home, move your home further from the border," Mendacium said sarcastically, looking around for Karine before spotting her again. He turned back to the earth girl after making note of the younger woman's position, "You may request it of me, but we have done nothing on purpose - nor do I believe we were truly disruptive." Raina gave a mental sigh, but the sound did not escape her lips. "Just as you say it is you job to gaurd the Water people's boarder, it is my duty to gaurd the Earthen boarder. I do not have the choice, or the luxury, to move my home, as you so flippantly suggest." It would be much less worrisome if she did. "Your actions, more specifically, the actions of that girl there..." Here she nodded to Karine. "You may be within your own land, but your actions reach beyond your small sphere of existance. The forest border is a few mere yards from where you are standing. Do you truely believe that your voice, your actions, and your power stop simply because the humans have divided the land there? Nature does not care about the disputes and disicions of mankind. There are no borders other than those that our race have created, and as such what happens here..." The girl pointed at the ground they were both standing upon at the moment. "Also affects what happens over there." Now she pointed towards the line of trees a few feet behind her.

>> Only the blackest of hearts"The laws of man have won over those of nature in the years that have past, and while she may have chosen to build the forest beside our waters, there is nothing saying that you must use your lands straight up to the border. What her powers are capable are much greater then a normal girl of her age, and she could probably defeat some of the more average leveled ones of my own age with such power..." Mendacium hissed at the earth land woman and looked over at Karine with his previous look of power, "Power that, if trained well, could be used for the advantages of those she sides with..." he whispered, more to himself then to Raina.
Mendacium raised his over-sized scythe and held it above his head, looking at where the disastrous water storm had stretched to with boredom, stabbing the blade of the scythe into the water, a lighter blue streak ran through the waters beside the forest that began the kingdom of Earth. The bluish white streak raised from the water and froze over into ice. "While the aqueous tempest caused some noise, the damage stayed in our lands and only splashed yours. If you can't deal with a little noise then I must say perhaps our nation should rethink who to feud with constantly..." Can feel the purest of love <<

Karine heard nothing of the conversation that Menacium and Raina had. She was trying to figure out why she could not control her power. Serina, her pet dragon, resurfaced as she noticed the other two people were busy. She came to sit by Karine and tried to cheer Karine up with playful antics. Serina succeed as Karine laughs and begins to play with the baby dragon.

"I care not what you do with your own people on your own land. What I do care about is what I was charged with, and that happens to be this stretch of forest." Raina stopped as Ghost gave a low hiss, and glanced over at the girl for a moment. "Dragons. Well, that explains it." Returning her attention to the man berating her, she slowly shook her head. "My home is several kilometers from here. The forest is wild for quite a ways before the borders meet. The only reason I am here is because I was doing my job. Before you decide to judge me and my people quite so thoroughly, you should decide who you truely wish to become enemies with. We are a peaceful people, but we can fight when we have to. You should know that well, considering we have fought beside your people for millinea."
Raina stopped and shook her head once more. "I did not come here to argue, only to ask that you move from this place. More specifically, move the dragon, as it is a predetor, and the animals in the forest are disturbed by it. Otherwise, do as you please."

>> Only the blackest of hearts"That blasted cat of yours disturbs me, yet I do not tell you to stay off the border of your own land because of it - so long as we are in our lands, the dragon may wander as it sees within these boundaries. If the small creature were to find its way onto your land, I would have it taken away immediately. However, we are on the Water Kingdom's land and until we set foot on the earth of your kingdom, you cannot request that something is moved for a reason like disturbance. Especially, under the consideration, that it has done nothing more to you then exist," Mendacium yelled at the woman, his temper drowning further in the watery depths beside them by the second. He glared at her through his blood red eyes with vigor that he had not felt in years, completely offended by her attitude and the way she viewed the laws between their lands. He looked across the waters and over towards the forest where her lands began and heaved his scythe from it's place with a dark smirk, "If you continue to argue with me on the matters of my land, then we'll have to duel over the matter - but you, my dear, are many years my junior - and I truly doubt you could handle what I can give to you." Shonasha Shonojo walked wearily to edge of the plateau like building. He placed a hand on one of the cool marble pillars and found himself soon leaning upon it. From here, through his half-opened eyes, Shonasha could see the rest of the air kingdom working through their daily lives below. Not the other Libra of course, who were all at work in their extravagant terraced "buildings", if they could really be called that, but the other people toiled in the sun below.
A gust of wind blew a spare few strands of white hair into his face. He brushed them back behind his ear before looking behind him to see that the wind had come from some children learning their spell lessons. One of the libra aristocrats seemed to have taken a break from his toil to teach his children a few tricks that they would be delighted to learn. He looked back to those working below, a bit remorsefully, as these people had scare anytime to teach their children to harness their gifts. Of course, that was how it always was, it was a typical day in the kingdom of air.

Karine looked up as Mendacium began yelling ans sent Serina back into the lake water. Karine stood and began to make her way over to the two others. She wasn't sure what she was going to do but it looked as if the other two wanted to kill each other and Karine was afraid that it was because of her. She gave a sad inward sigh before stopping by their sides. "Is there a problem?" Karine asks politely.

A smirk tugged at the edge of Raina's lips as Ghost gave a low rumble of protest. He oviously disliked the man's attitude, but he allowed himself to be soothed by the companion he chose to keep. She, on the other hand, had to fight the smile that threatened to creep into existance as she watched the man. It's been far too long since you found a person who matched you, the girl chided herself, refering to the argument he claimed they were having. "Nothing but a mild dispute," she assured him. "Not an argument. I have not told you to do anything, sir. I have merely requested, which you are entitled to refuse. However, I have not come here for my own account. Personally, I love all creatures. Even ones with firey tempers." Here she allowed herself a brief smile, and rolled her eyes. "On the matter of our ages, there is no doubt you are older, and therefore likely more experienced then I am, but I would advise you not to discount be entirely. I do protect the border, just as you do, and that duty is not given lightly. If I was not able to defend and defeat, I would be removed and a more competent individual put in my place." She watched his scythe with little more than a flicker of intrigue, her gaze as mild and unconcerned as her voice had been.
When the girl joined them, Raina halfway turned and gave her customary bow of greeting, one that she had neglected with the man she'd first approached. "Greetings. There is not a problem, though I thank you for your concern. Only a disagreement, which I doubt will be resolved." She stopped to study the girl for a moment, and the Ghost gave a soft purr of agreement, the unspoken idea to his liking. She unconciously reached up to pet the cat, illiciting a deeper purr from him, and then gave the girl a slight smile that did not appear forced, but was also not in any sense warm. "You might be of assitance, however. Your dragon friend has disturbed the animals of the forest I am bound to care for. I was asking this gentleman if he might could convince you to take it farther from the border, but now I have a better idea. If you would consent to lead the dragon to the place where your Water border and my Earthen border meet, then I would be able to show the forest and its animals that it presents no threat to them. It is merely instinct that has them riled, and they would trust my judgement if I assured them they would not come to harm at the hands of the creature. Would you be willing to assist me, miss?" Raina inwardly smirked. He was not going to take her cutting around him well, that was obvious, but as of yet it seemed he held no power over the girl.

"Serina is still a baby, but when she gets bigger she will eat a lot but my guess is she will eat cows and the like. My problem miss is that I cannot garruntee the forest animals safety. I can promise that unless for survival Serina will not harm you friends." Karine said before calling Serina over. Serina was apprehensive about being around so many people but as Karine smiled at her she began to play at Karine's feet. Karine smiled at her baby dragon before looked back at the woman.

"Death is a part of life," Raina answered simply, giving a careful shrug. Even then, she earned a clawless swipe from her friend. "All creatures know that simple fact. But the forest would be calm, as it fears destruction at the moment. And if the forest is calm, the creatures that live within it will also settle, and that is all that I wish to happen." Glancing down at the dragon, the girl switched to the language that all creatures understood. "You are a very enchanting creature, little one," she told the dragon kindly. "I look forward to seeing what you will become."
