Wow that sounds very simular to where I live. I'm a very dark purple. I live in a cave with a forest off to the right and a large feild with a small lake to the left when looking out of the cave. The cave sits in the side of a plateau.

i've explored all of the lands in the general area of my 'kingdom', which i took by force from a gang/clan of blues who killed the original caretakers of it(astral parents of mine, kinda), and that doesnt sound familiar.

My dear DR490N, I really must point out a few things to you.

Firstly, I never once said that all Dragons follow this code of honor. I said DragonKind, and DragonKind are of the old beliefs. None of these are based off of D&D, they are based off of the ancient codes to which I have spent my current and past lives adhering too, and I will continue to do so.

Secondly, the code of honor may sound "Wiccan-ish" as you so improperly put it, because many who truly follow the old beliefs of the Pagans. Typically we follow the path we set out on during or first lives.

And as you have so blatantly insulted me by cursing at me, I feel it would be proper to correct a few spelling and grammar mistakes.

Quote:
hahah oh wow. that dragon code of honor thing made me laugh. look, us dragons really don't need to do jack s**t. we live for whatever we want to. i expect nothing but hate, and hell, if i can get paid to kill people again, lke i did in my last life in the 1600s, i'll do it.

-----------------------------------------

Hahaha. Oh wow. That Dragon Code of Honor thing made me laugh. Look, we dragons really don't need to do jack s**t. We live how we choose. I expect nothing but hate, and hell, if I can get paid to kill people again, like I did in my last life in the 1600s, I'll do it.

~~

Let me just comment on that post, you may be of the belief that you have to do nothing to get though in life but other Dragons do believe in the code and will uphold it.

lawful good is an rpg term *slaps forehead* trust me, i used to play dungeons and dragons with a few friends. never could get into it.
nor am i an evil person. i dont believe that evil is static, but that it's a creation of foolish humans trying to find a single word for what defies their own morality. When it comes down to it i'll do what i please. am i callous? yes. am i brutal? yes. do i value human life very heavily? not usually no. the majority of modern humans are useless and unworthy of life. would i kill someone for money? depends on who they are, what they've done, and what they'll leave behind. Honor is also non-static. it varies from culture to culture. if killing someone else keeps me alive, i'll do it, if its the only way out. talking kindly with others? ******** you. respect is earned, not freely given, though in true celtic style, i'll be respectful to you as long as you've never been disrespectful to me. Dragonkind are not always honorable after any fasion. i just got finished kicking out a clan of murderers and bulies from my astral realm. they killed my 'parents', for want of a better term, kicked everyone out, confined me to a temple, tried to break in on numerous occasions, and consistenetly beat on anyone unfortunate enough to visit the area. it took me a month to clear those sonsofbitches out, and another two weeks to make those who chose to stay learn their place(after a few assassination attempts, you lose your temper. the elves are very good at punishing traitors).

this very wiccan-ish code of honor is pathetically unable to deal with the realities of life and unlife. FAIL.

which again, woefully inadequate and innacurate, not to mention massively fluffy.

i also have a huge problem with these decidedly roleplayerish classifications, though i fit into a few of them. for example, i'm blue. i live, however in a forested area bordered on one side by a mountain belt and on another by a valley with a small lake(on the astral plane that is).
the only two that really fit me there are metal and some aspects of earth.

Did I once say that these were all of the classifications? No, I did not once claim that. My dear, these are merely general or broad classifications. If you truly are the Dragon that you claim you are, you would have come to the very basic realization that classifications cannot be put onto one page. To classify every dragon type, every crossbreed, every "anarch" Dragon, every "traitorous" Dragon, every single type, every breed would be humanly impossible.

You claim to be a ruler, correct? To be a ruler one must be wise, and from how you have [claimed to have] act[ed], you do not sound like a wise ruler.

Alright. Feel free to look around sometime through. The place is pretty open, though the boarder guards may hassle you a bit.

Furthermore, I must state that I have never once played Dungeons and Dragons, therefore I have no idea how the game is set up, nor how the game has its beings or whatever you wish to call them.

It sickens me that you call yourself a DragonKind, for they are honorable. You have absolutely no right to call yourself a DragonKind, for we are a sect of ancient blood. We do not allow those who have no moral codes to belong to our sect, so do not go and call yourself a DragonKind.

And do try to use proper English next time you wish to be disrespectful of another's beliefs, ideas, morals and hard work.

Respectfully,

ShadowFoxx

I must say, I had never heard about the idea of Dragon-kind before I read this topic, I'm quite intrigued (if you don't mind me saying so!). Of course, I'd heard about the idea of Dragons as mythical creatures, but not of people who claim to be of the race. (I don't say "claim to be" as an insult, just because it's a new concept to me so I'm not sure of my opinions on it yet) (if that makes sense!).

Do you guys believe that your current human body is inhabited by the soul of a dragon? Or that in the astral planes your spirit takes on the form of a dragon but never was in the form of a dragon in the physical world? Hope you don't mind me asking!

I definitely do not mind these questions, it is always wonderful to run into an inquiring mind. I do apologize for not answering sooner but you asked a very difficult question, as such I will attempt to answer as rationally as I can, and remain withing the boundaries of our Coven's laws (I say Coven because that is the best way I can describe it).

Many in the main Coven have the souls of Dragons, I myself am a member of the main Coven. As for on the astral planes, it really rather depends on the person. The High Priestess of our Coven has the soul of a wolf and she has the spirit form of a Dragon. I have the soul of a Dragon and the spirit form of a knight. My cousin has the soul of a Dragon and the spirit form of a Dragon.

I do hope I have addressed your question.

Good to know I answered them and feel free to pm me or email me (blkdrgnmstr@yahoo.com) or whatever as information is almost impossible to find on this particular subject. My fellow Coven members and I will be quite glad to answer any questions.

I personally do believe that my astral form is that of a dragon, and that that is also my trueform, or soulform.

now, blkdrgnmstr, i'm sorry to say that i must still completely reject your foolish little dragon code. there never was a code then, and to define the climate and temperament of a dragon by it's appearance is at once offensive and stupid, hence my rather angry and rude reaction. i WAS ancient. i lived until i simply winked out of existance, body and all, in that life. thousands of years if i remember correctly, and not once in my travels did i ever come across anything that remotely backs up any of that horse s**t you posted. so sorry if it's rude, but my experience and knowledge says you're full of s**t.
wise? i do indeed hold much wisdom. part of that wisdom to me is sharing rule rather than being a tyrant. i rule by a combination of the main force i so horribly utilized to take my land back, and by keeping in almost constant council with the others i have allowed into my land.
now your concept of "dragonkind" is pretty alien to me. as a dragon i raised myself. my hatchmates left me, and i was the last to hatch. i dont know where my 'parents' for wont of a better term went. i was left alone to raise myself, and for the first many years of my life(my estimate is about 30 to 70, which is a large discrepancy) my only contact came from passers by, other dragons who found themselves in my area and helped raise me. i was later treated almost as a God by elves, though at the time i didn't think much of it. i was just glad to have friends and someone to teach. i am very old in terms of the soul. i haven't the slightest how long, but i'm certainly older than this world, and the one that came before it. i think the earth has gone through at least 3 total destructions since my first life, but i don't have much to back that up, making it irrelevant.
As for your calling me dishonorable, that's perfectly alright. you can hold yourself to your immature and childish little morals. i have plenty of my own, so go on ahead and ram yours straight up your a*****e. Just because my morals are different than your does not make me dishonorable, and just because i defy your irrelevant little paradigms does not mean i am not a dragon. my draconity has been confirmed to me by many outside sources, all of whom could describe me without my telling them a thing. I am a dragon, and I am proud to be. I am also, however, a person believing in practicality. though you do not like what i have to say or the arrogant, rude, and capricious way that i say it, my words have a greater meaning behind them than your foolish and pathetic mind can possibly comprehend, and your rediculous little set of research is quite obviously flawed and badly informed.
start from scratch and shut the ******** up.

oh, and just to add a little quote here.
Quote:
March 3rd: Alexander Graham Bell—he is the patron Saint to all Copper Dragons.

this man is the creator of the telephone. he had nothing to do with dragons. also, he is not a saint.

Dude, I think you should take some time to calm down about this a little. Having different opinions to others is fine, but it doesn't mean you have the right to belittle them for holding different beliefs (which also goes against the guild rules by the by). If you want people to listen to you, a more persuasive argument would be less angry insults and more explanation 3nodding I'm not trying to get at you here or anything, you're just not doing yourself any favours by mixing your points of view with insults.

OK, I'm gonna stop butting in now!

normally i'm quite able to keep my cool about this sort of thing. the problem is that they insulted me greatly, and that they present something that's obviously untrue(this is an absolutely rediculous system based off of a combination of the chinese elements and several seemingly random colors, contradicted by almost every dragonkin i know), and it further disproves itself by taking the name of someone who was quite human and had NOTHING TO DO WITH DRAGONS, and calling them a bloody saint! this is an insult to dragons everywhere and delegitimizes those of us who make serious claims. I will not stand for such childish foolishness.
