As you are molding your chakra you just happen to look over to your right.
The red serpent part of Proteus has lowered its head to the water level and is looking directly at you. Then it opens its mouth and fires another stream of fire across the surface of the water towards you.

((Huh I thought it only said cost 5 stamina for the offensive ones in the databooks?))
Kaito smirked, a rare feat for him, as he eyed the creature. "There's no way that attack can miss. It just has to hit this other head or I'll just have to find another way to make this happen. But I refuse to die here. Hmmm all the heads attacked once and then it went back to the first head whom attacked, I'd smell a pattern here, but how would that help me." Kaito jumped up towards the center head and began running up in hopes of avoiding the stream. I should have brought some soldier pills with me instead. I can't last much longer. I know the limit of my own strength, but still I just can't give up right here, even if its impossible I was given a task and I must follow it through. I'm having...fun. I'm going to die here, and I'm having fun. I don't do fun. Kaito ran through quick handseals and created four water clones from the water under him who ran up behind him.

((BTW: I just noticed, you havn't been using your negative speed modifier from carrying the chum bag. razz )
The fireball cruised across the surface of the water and past the rest of the heads towards the shore so far,far away.
The red serpents head follows you as you start to run up the blue serpents neck. Being somewhat confused by there suddenly being four of you it's head slightly moves back and lips almost purse as if it's thinking.
Then it lets out what could be called a "sigh" except it's then you see what it's doing. It releases another torrent of fire, except this time its aimed for water by the neck. The fire blast causes the water to explode in the air, but as it rises you notice that it is bubbling and emitting a lot of vapors. It must be VERY hot.

((Well I'm not carrying it anymore actually, remember I did throw the entire bag earlier towards the center head))
"Separate and don't dawdle." All the Kaito's continued running up the neck of the serpent now separating into two groups as one group moved more towards the left side and the other towards the right side making sure to stay close enough to one another as Kaito needed to be near the clones for this to happen. He doubted escaping the attack was going to happen, but it forced the beast to attack itself, bracing himself for the incoming flames.

((Whooooooooooops you are correct, I read that as throwing a piece of meat from the bag. You threw the whole bag eek burning_eyes ))
As the water splashes down along the blue serpents neck it louds out a loud shriek in surprise and possibly pain. The red serpents head moves towards it and shrieks something back at it but the blue serpent snaps at the red serpent head. Which causes the red serpent head to quickly move back and let out another series of shrill cries at it.
The other heads all seem to intervine and begin making various sounds preoccuping them for at least a few seconds.

((Lol oh and thanks for deleting my fubared post only reason I didn't delete it is cause I didn't want to be accused of cheating by deleting and rerolling or anything like that. Hmmm starting to wonder if because of my jounin uniform I would have 2 more health points. Oh well.))
Finally I got them to fight amongst themselves. The way I see it I have three options I could go back down for the food and hope they're finally willing to cooperate. Second I can hope they continue to fight until they tire out and then feed them. Or lastly I could move from this spot let them fight for some more while I think of how Kisame can actually control this thing. Kaito was controlling his breathing carefully his body wanted to pant and fall over, but he couldn't risk it as he countinued running silently reaching into his belt holster for the smoke bomb.

The serpents all screetch at each other in unison then break apart. The blue serpent rapdily descends back into the water until it's fully submerged. The other heads all begins to search the water for any sign of you.

Kaito held his breath and swam up the neck for the body of the beast as quiet as he could, hitting against the smoke bomb in his belt hoping to activate it under water to no avail, it seemed like the safest place at the moment and he couldn't risk staying underwater.

The heads at the surface all let out a roar unison. As you try to hit the smoke bomb on scales of the serpent it cracks open but the water dissolves the material inside from working properly.
A second later the scale your hand is on roughly cuts you as it quickly travels upward, the blue serpent's head quickly rises back out of the water and shakes itself off.
The brown serpent's head is the first to react, opening its mouth it fires a large boulder in the water where the heads spotted you.

Kaito focused attempting to reduce the dame with his own chakra. He then followed up by quickly preparing the seal for body substitution he didn't feel like ending it yet barely keeping the boulder above his head.

The black serpent head along with the blue serpent head look at each other. Then each lets out a loud roar.
Opening their mouths the blue head releases a spiralling water cyclone, while the black one releases another torrent of shadowy energy. They combine and plow down right after the boulder in hopes of finishing you off.

*Poof* The attack moved down towards another water replacement created by Kaito it would be shaped like Kaito if he wasn't underwater at the time of the jutsu. He was now swimming with his back against where he hoped was the back of the beast after replacing with the farthest body of water that he hoped would still be near enough to the beast. "Heh, well this thing doesn't even want to eat me. I'm really confused as to how it acts. How the hell does Kisame keep you under wraps. It'd be foolish off me to assume that I can beat you, but I was only ordered to feed you why can't you just listen? Oh well it's not like I can sing you a little tune now can I." Kaito panted heavily as he wondered the fate of the head we was technically on top off when that boulder came down.

The serpent heads all let out another roar in unison then each carefully looks over the water to make sure that the annoyance in their waters was actually dead.
Floating in the water a few feet away you spot the sack that held the chum. However most of the meat is scattered in the water away from the sack now.

Kaito chuckled as he spotted the chum bag. "I guess my only option is asking it. Yeah, I've completely lost it." Kaito swam out to the bag knowing he'd be caught in the end but he didn't care. When he reached the empty bag he held it up to the air. The boy inhaled before finally screaming "HEY YOU, THE UGLY THING TRYING TO KILL ME! FEEDING TIME!"
((Obviously no need for a stealth roll this time around))
