picknslap I just don't want to see Ozzy, like break a hip on stage or something. We all know Ozzy. If that were to happen he'd tell his doctor to ******** off and he'd probably sing in a wheelchair if he had to.

Yeah, I agree about Metallica. They should have stopped after the Black Album...just after the apex of their career.
I can't think of any other band that hasn't aready quit.

What I meant was that the Black Album was just after the apex of their career(..And Justice for All). The BA showed signs of a downfall in their abilities, and they should have stopped there before it got out of hand.

At the risk of making this thread a repetitively obvious one, I'd have to agree that Metallica are dead in spirit, they might as well kill the still twitching remains of their once glorious career.
I'd say Megadeth ('Risk' was baaaad, and 'The World Needs a Hero' wasn't much in the way of redemption)... but on the other hand, they've had a far better run than Metallica, and I'll reserve judgement untill I hear the new album.
Slayer need to make another good album or give up. They're not stale yet, but it's going that way...

Merl Metallica, but i'd also love to see Slipknot give up.. or any other band in the nu-metal genre. Indeed... xp Oh, and if we can mentio non-metal bands (Nu-metal goes under that, since it isn't metal, for those who didn't know), I'd say Rolling Stones... They're almost turning 100, and they are still going, and they are overrated as hell... gonk Some people just don't know when to stop. xp
