What kind of ROMs?
Super Nintendo, Genesis, other? ^_^
I suggest Seiken Densetsu 3. (AKA Secret of Mana 2)
it’s the greatest game ever made! xd
It had a day time night time system, long before Zelda Ocarina of Time.
It actually fades between the times of day.
It even has days of the week.
It has a total of six playable characters.
You’ll have to choose three of them and the entire story will depend on the characters you chose, and the order of them.
Sadly, it was never released outside of Japan.
But someone made a really good translation of the ROM a few years back.

I haven't downloaded any ROM's in a long while.

No! most of the new generation emulators are hoaxes.
But my cousin use to an N64 emulator.
He had Star Fox and Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
But he said that they took up to much space, so he deleted them.
