*Kamakazie glanced at the young ticorn for a moment, before his eyes fell ahead of him again* how do you fare on hunts?

"Uhhh....hunting? I tried that once. I got out of formation and tripped my sister, I messed the whole thing up......Then I was shunned." Danny looks up "But only for a week! So I can try. I could be a decoy or something..." Danny got off his back and trotted over to Kamakazie, shards of grass fell of his back as he made his way forward.

Hum...*he looked out to the plains again, the wide grassland bare except for a few birds.* Well, you seem pretty fast, run out there and see if you can catch a bird or something...*A small grin came to Kamakazie, he had a feeling Danny wouldnt be able too, but he wanted to see how he approched this challenge.*

Danny looked over into the grasslands at the birds then back at Kamakazie. Sonmething aboout that grin told him Kamakazie did not have much faith in him.
"*sigh* Alright, I'll try"
He started of at a slow stalk, trying to be as silent as he could, being small that wasn't such a challenge. As he got closer to the birds he noticed the birds had not stopped furraging for whatever insects they were looking for.Taking this as a fair sign he began on his way, at a quicker pace this time. But it was too good of a thing to happen to Danny. His coal black coat againt the green of the plains gave him away all to soon. The birds flew away in a flurry of feathers in from of him. Danny growled in fustration.
~This is why I chose eating out of the garbage...~
He looked back at Kamakazie with a kind of 'help' expression on his face.

*he grinned lightly as he padded over to danny, kind eyes looking down at him.* That was a fair try...but you have speed. *he turned his gaze up to the sky* We Ticorns are build for speed unlike any of the other hybrids...use that to your advantage. One day you could become a great hunter. *he continued padding onward, tail swalying slowly behind him.*

Danny sat on his hunches and thought about this for a minute.
~Hmm what if I try again...~
He located the flock of birds again and this time instead of stalking them, he ran head-on. This time he felt faster, a lot faster and the ground seemed not as rough anymore. A black presence surrounded himas he ran, a good 45 mph,his horn felt different. He aimed hi horn instinctvly for a bird and scewarded it like it was nothing. A strange silver mercury was folowing of of his th horn on to the carcass of the bird.
~Hey! I got one! Why does it look so small? I got to show Kamakazie~
He galloped back to where the two hybrids stood before. He didn't pay attention to how he was just above eye level to Kamakazie, he was too happy. He sat down in front of him and offered the bird to Kamakazie.
"I got one....I can get another if you would like" His voice sound deeper as if he'd grown.,

A small giggle came from some bushes(SP?), it was Shadow. He was watching the two Ticorns, an act of boredom. His giggles turned to laughs and
he rolled out of the bushes, laughing, on his back.

Danny looked over from Kamakazie to whomever was laughing, ears flattened.
~Who would be laughing at such a moment~He thought.
He was able to sniff out the smell of faint cinders mixed with fur, a tinix. He took a step forward bareing his teeth and growling but, stopped.
~What if he wants to join the house.. Wait he can't stay! I was just getting comfortable to the feeling of just kamakazie and I~
He sneered at the tinix and turned to leave.

The tinix continued to laugh on his back. He rolled over and heard a snapping nose. A hissing cam before the snapping and he no longer laughed. He searched the ground for something, he picked up a snake in his teeth and looked at Danny.

Danny made his way over to a hollowed out hill and laid down inside it. He took this oportunity to take a nap while fuming at the same time.

Shadow looked around, he ran up to Danny, looking at him with a twisted face. He poked Danny out of boredom. Shadow began to stare at Danny, thinking he was a philly cheese steak.

Danny rolled his eyes. "Oh God, what do you want from me?" He changed his position so his back was facing Shadow and continued with his nap.

He stared at Danny. He took one step closer to Danny. He poked him once more. " My name is Shadow Raccoon..." Shadow told Danny. Shadow attempted to give Danny a superextracalifristicextrallidosis hug.

"What? Raccoons..No I don't eat them.." Shadow told Danny. " Yes I bet they taste good..I wonder what Snakes taste like?" He said and walked over to the
snake and bit it, he howled. " MY TONGUE! IT BURNS!" He screamed in horror.
