Grete laughed at Iosif's plan. She smiled an attractive, slightly toothy, smile at this, and shook her head slightly. While, in the long run, using booze to help recover from having too much booze wasn't a very good idea, it seemed good enough to Grete. She clapped as he revealed the lid to the bottle, and then she dissolved into laughter once more.
She couldn't deny that she was having a good time, and any worries or doubts that she once had about having a roommate were completely gone. Well, either they were gone, or it was just the alcohol talking. Regardless, Grete turned and looked at Iosif, and thought about a response to his statement.
"People here are generally pretty nice. There are always a few here-and-there that aren't too great, but you know," Grete's gaze lowered to the floor, then flicked back to Iosif, "I suppose you're happy here, then."
Grete paused, and just smiled at Iosif. She was starting to realize that she was feeling a little tipsy.
"So...what now?" She asked with a grin.

Happy here? Hell, Iosif was happy anywhere. That was what was great about the Russian - he was remarkably easy to please. Roof over his head? Great! Sleeping by the roots of a tree? Fantastic! Locked in a closet with nothing but bread and water for days? Sounded like a vacation. But his willingness to make the best out of situations aside, Iosif did feel happy here. Admittedly he hadn't been there very long, but it was a very... different environment from what he was accustomed to. He was too old to put up with that sort of thing anymore, so it was a change he appreciated.
"Ya rad!" Iosif replied, bobbing his head up and down for emphasis. "Very happy is here, yes? Here, this place too." He pat the floor lightly with his hand to indicate Grete's trailer.
Her question gave him pause, and Iosif tilted his head back, mouth pursed sideways in thought. "Is much good question," he commented, drumming the tips of his long fingers together. "You play game, maybe?"

Iosif's reaction made Grete smile once more. She knew that her trailer wasn't exactly the nicest one around, but he said that it was fine, so she had to take his word for it. She was now happy because she had managed to be helpful in a situation. That, and she was able to find a drinking partner that would be, most likely, around her trailer whenever she felt like drinking.
"Mmmm," Grete sighed and then thought about it, "Well, what kind of game do you have in mind, exactly?"
She was up for anything at the moment, mostly due to the alcohol. However, she also attributed it to the fact that she enjoyed spending time with Iosif. While she knew of a few games herself, she figured that she would ask Iosif what he was thinking about. He seemed as though he might know of a few, perhaps even some that Grete had never heard of.

Iosif stretched his arms above his head, tilting his head to the side and letting out a sigh of relief as his neck cracked audibly. Admittedly Iosif hadn't played a lot of drinking games - usually he didn't drink in social situations, since he was otherwise occupied when the Viola was open, be it with piano or... other things. Either way he was used to being drunk around people, but usually all they wanted to do was laze about and be drunk. (Something that Iosif had proven to be rather adept at.) Games were a little out of his league, not that he really knew of any besides.
"Charades?" he offered, flashing a charming grin in Grete's direction.

Grete raised an eyebrow, smiled widely, and burst into a fit of giggles. She waved her hand at him as she kept laughing, attempting to signal him that she was, in fact, about to say something. Once she had finished laughed, she went quiet for a second, gaining back regular breathing after such a loud fit.
Grete patted Iosif on the shoulder softly, and just smiled. Charades was something that she had never expected him to say, nor could she actually visualize Iosif playing charades. She was tempted to say 'yes', just to see if it would be as funny to watch as she had imagined it being, but she decided to decline the offer.
"Maybe we won't play any games," Grete said slowly, becoming aware of a small headache. Her words were beginning to run together, just slightly, but even so, she eyed the bottle of whiskey, wondering if she wanted more.
"So," She said, her gaze now fixed on Iosif, "Tell me a little about yourself. I'd like to know just some facts about the person that I'm now living with."

"Eeeeeh," Iosif hesitated, expression somewhat petulant. His hand came up to rub at the back of his neck, fingers twisting up into his hair, before he heaved a great, dramatic sigh and nodded his assent. "Okay, I am agree to this. What you maybe want to know?"

Grete frowned, and her gaze lowered back down to the floor again. She reacted as a puppy that had just gotten scolded would, if it wasn't exactly sure what it did. She hadn't wanted to get into anything that Iosif didn't feel like sharing, but it looked like she had done so anyway.
Biting her lip, Grete glanced up at Iosif, her eyes pleading for forgiveness. Not exactly stable with her emotions while drunk, Grete tended to take things a little more seriously after having too much to drink.
"Well, I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bother you. I just was curious as to how one is attacked by a bear while dancing."
Not realizing how incredibly strange that sounded, Grete just looked concerned. While thinking about what she just said, Grete was fairly certain that what she said wasn't exactly how the story went. On second thought, she was fairly certain that Iosif had said that he made up the bear story. Grete still remained quiet, though, but just adjusted the way that she was sitting. Now she was sitting on her knees, leaning up against the cabinets, but facing Iosif.

Iosif raised his eyebrows at Grete, a little puzzled by her reaction. Something about bears and dancing? His mind was buzzing a little too much to quite make out the meaning of what she was saying, but he recognized her wounded expression as practically screaming "I AM UPSET!" - all the women he knew made that same sort of withering expression, which Iosif immediately associated with him getting in trouble. Thus, he was rather eager to make amends.
"Hey! Hey, no!" He laughed loudly, and gave Grete a pat on the shoulder that was probably enough to knock her somewhat off-balance. "Hey is not any problem! Maybe you not worry this pretty head so much, eh?" Iosif reached a hand out to muss Grete's hair for what must've been the thousandth time, and gave the girl an encouraging smile. "You can ask of me anything, okay? Is not problem, I am promising you this."
He hadn't meant to upset her or anything, honest!

Grete swayed after being patted on the shoulder, and nearly fell right onto the floor. That was one thing that she would have to learn to get used to. She also needed to get accustomed to having her hair getting untidy nearly instantly. Not like it was a huge problem. After running a hand through her hair to smooth if back down slightly, a small smile spread over her face.
Granted, being called pretty cheered Grete up considerably. She blushed slightly and then she simply beamed at Iosif. Now, if only she could remember what exactly she was going to ask him...
She sat there on the floor thinking for a few moments, and her concentration read clearly on her face. Once she remembered, she smiled at Iosif. Grete hadn't exactly done a good job of explaining what she wanted to ask about. Her questions were purely about his time at Cirque, and she realized that perhaps she should've made that clear in the first place.
"Oh! Right, so, you all have you met here? At Cirque, I mean," Grete smirked, and, feeling a bit in a gossipy mood, added, "Who's you're favorite so far?"

Ah! That question wasn't so bad. Iosif was expecting something along the lines of "Have you ever been married?" or "How old are you, really?" but this question he could field easily. A mischievous grin crossed his features, pushing the corners of his eyes upward and distorting his scar somewhat. Bringing one knee up and resting his arm on it, he cocked his head sideways in "thought" though he already knew what his response was going to be.
"Is hard to maybe say," he said slowly, his voice teasing. "Maybe is little Sarava? Little thing - has very much fur. And very much eyes!" He widened his good eye at Grete, attempting to demonstrate. It didn't quite achieve the same effect, but it was a good effort nonetheless.

Grete's face lit up as she laughed at his impression. It was fairly accurate; perhaps Grete was wrong in turning down charades. While she was laughing, Grete pushed her hair back out of her face, and then changed her sitting position again. She couldn't sit still at the moment, and she stretched her legs out again, however she couldn't stretch them out directly in front of her. She would run into Iosif if she did so. Rather, she stretched them out just beside him, so he wouldn't have to move.
"Sarava is pretty cute. Seems aw-full-y protective of Ankita," Considering the amount of whiskey she had just recently consumed, she amount of difficulty she had saying "awfully" was understandable. While her trouble with talking after a few drinks was thought of as cute by some, Grete had encountered people who had found it thoroughly annoying. She desperately hoped that it didn't bother Iosif.
"I'm surprised that Lucrezia and I got along fine earlier," Grete stated, this time having difficulty saying Lucrezia's name, which she had never had a problem with before.
"I was afraid that if we ever saw each other again, we'd start physically fighting or something," Grete joked, "You ever felt like that before?"

Seeing how Iosif had enough trouble speaking English on his own, he wasn't the type to hold it against someone if they began slurring. His own speech wasn't slurred, thankfully, but his English remained just as terrible as ever.
"Lucy?" he asked, looking surprised. He had no idea that there was any bad blood between Grete and Lucrezia - they'd seemed perfectly all right when he had met them both. Curiosity piqued, Iosif raised his eyebrows at Grete and nodded in response to her question. "Is - eh, not strange feeling? Many people maybe think this way like us! Like you maybe want to - " He gestured vaguely with his hand, trying to think of the word. Instead, he put his hands around his throat and shook himself back and forth a bit. Looked like impromptu charades were in the cards after all!
He pulled his hands away and laughed, shaking his head. Perhaps if he were sober the word would've have come to him, but as it was he couldn't think of it. "Why you is feeling this?" he asked, unable to help himself. He was nosy.

Honestly, Grete didn't mind Iosif's slight nosiness. Well, at least not this type of nosiness. She laughed at his act of strangling someone. He really was quite good at charades. Grete had judged that before she had seen his charade abilities. Slowly, Grete leaned forward and raised both eyebrows.
Feeling as though this were something that should be kept on the hush-hush, Grete leaned in just a little more, and kept her voice at a whisper. Just in case, for whatever reason, someone was listening in. Well, it all made sense to Grete in her drunken state.
"See," she whispered softly, "She started talking about how mediums were all frauds, and accused me of being one. A fraud! I was a-apalled. I don't know, maybe it was a little on the silly side, but..," Grete put her right hand on her chest, a particularly dramatic move that put emphasis on how sad she was at the time.
"It just really offended me. Oh, and I probably said something snarky in return, but you know how that goes."

Iosif's mouth formed a sympathetic "O" of understanding, and he gave her a vague, thoughtful nod before leaning back a bit. Then his brows creased together and he turned back to Grete, a sheepish smile on his face. "What is medium?"
He understood it in different context. Something that was inbetween? But that couldn't have been what she was implying.

Returning back to her regular level of talking, Grete leaned back a little, and began to explain. Or try to explain as best as she could.
"I'm a medium. It's why I'm here at Cirque. I can," Grete tried to think of the most dramatic word to use here, "Commune with spirits. Ghosts."
She smiled widely at Iosif, obviously proud of herself. Then, she had thought of another question to ask him.
"Hey...so, what's your act, exactly? I mean, I know you shoot things," He had told her so shortly after they met, "But, what do you shoot? How does your act go?"
Without giving him much time to respond to her, she gasped, and quickly got to her feet. She wobbled slightly as she stood up, but once she steadied herself, she turned to Iosif with a grin on her face. Grete grabbed hold of one of Iosif's wrists with both her hands, in an attempt to pull him to his feet. Once she realized that she was far too small to do so, she rolled her eyes, let go and took a few steps away from him, to an area in her trailer that was clear of any furniture or clutter.
Grete's eyes lit up as she beamed at him; it was a smile filled with feminine charm. She clearly had an idea of what to do next.
"Dancing!" She said, proud of her idea, "You could teach me how to ballroom dance. You said you were good, right? So...so, let's start with something pretty and fancy. A waltz, or something."
Smiling at him widely, Grete hoped that Iosif would be up to it.
