...luckily for me (or unluckily if you choose to view it that way), Barney never really made much of an appearance in my childhood TV-watching life.

Hmm. That's very unusual. I used to watch it all the time, and would be thrilled when they were having a Barney+Winnie the Pooh marathon. neutral

I don't think it was shown on free-to-air Australian TV much at all...maybe it was on cable? I don't know, we didn't have cable back then.
Also, in Oz, I think it's pretty common for kids to dislike Barney...I even remember in primary school, alot of "death to Barney" songs circulating around the playground...
*shrugs* Maybe Aussies are just weird. 3nodding

It was only in preschool. A lot of people in elementary school felt they needed to act cool and insult their childhood heroes.

Ah. I can hardly remember watching TV when I was in pre-school...I can't remember if we even had a TV back then, but my memory is pretty fuzzy that far back.

Flyr Apples. Expecially with peanut butter. xd mmm I love that too. But I have to have green apples to eat them that way and Granny Smith apples are the best, imo.
