Fayte smiled happy that she wasn't going to be killed at the moment and nodded "Go ahead I have tones" she blushed lightly and then handed him the fish "I don't think I've read about you yet sorry" she sighed thinking about all the books she had to read. "You'd worry about someone you just met and not even know what they are capable of?" She grinned wanting to see what kind of reaction she could get out of him. After all whats life without a little tease?

Leo smiled at her and took the fish, he pulled it open with his bare hands and pulled out a little of the soft flesh and ate it, he smiled at the warm feeling and sighed, "I am surprised, for someone who is training to fend for them selves I am usually one of the first people they are old about, Leo the dark angel of death for all who cross his path," he said and looked at her with a slightly evil grin, he looked away and continued to eat the fish, he smiled and lay back when he had finished and looked up at the night sky, he sighed and shook his head, "What is the world coming to?"

She just opened her book shaking her head "Don't ask questions that you more than likely don't want to know or already know the answer too" she grinned up at him blushing slightly Man I don't know how to keep my mouth shut She put her book down and ate one of her fish tilting her head at him "I'm sorry, My parents never got around to teach me much about what I'm going to encounter on my journey" She shrugged and looked back into the fire. "I wish I had marshmallows ha ha" She brought her knees up to her chest and leaned her head on them "The fish needed seasoning I can actually cook better than this" she laughed to herself and at the random small talk she was providing

Leo smiled and nodded, "I guess your right, and they should have taught you, you can meet a lot of weird people on the road, and I mean weirder than me," he said and laughed, he sat up and looked at her, "your cooking is good, then again anything is good after three weeks of no food and constant traveling," he said and sighed, "maybe I should travel with you for a wile, you really are a fool anyone who knew anything would know not to talk to me or they could get badly hurt, its a good think I have taken a liking to you hu?"

She tilted her head slightly "YOU HAVEN'T EATEN IN THREE WEEKS??!!!" She looked at him in shock "Thats it! You have to travel with me! I promise I'll feed ya!" She grinned and looked around a little worked up. She stood up "Are you still hungry I'll make you something else" She looked at him grinning hearing him state how others would do about running into him "Well now... no Wonder you haven't eatin" she smiled at him "From the stories that your telling me about yourself I am greatful that you didn't kill me right when you saw me" She gave a slight bow "The names Fayte"

Leo looked up at her as she got all worked up and stood himself, "Yeah, I'm used to not eating," he said and smiled, he stretched and nodded, "well more would be good but don’t push your self," he said and took her hand, "you know my name but I will say it again," he bowed and kissed her hand gently, "I am Leonardo, but just call me Leo, no one has called me my real name is at leave one thousand years," he said and laughed as he let go of her hand and raised himself from the bow.

She looked at him grinning widely "I like food so I don't know how to go without it ha ha" she patted her stomach with one hand "And don't worry I never push myself... Just get lost and sleep in the weirdest places ha ha" she blushed lightly when he kissed her hand and smiled "Leonardo huh ok, Leo is easier to remember" she laughed "Your an old man? I never would have guessed it ha ha to you I'm definitely a kid" she looked at him sternly "But don't call me a kid I'm full grown in human standards and..." she sighed not finishing and sitting back down "Never mind what I am to wizard standards" She smiled up at him. "Should we stay here tonight or should we find someplace else?" She covered her mouth covering a yawn and smiled again watching the fire slowly go down. She mumbled an incantation to keep the fire going and make it a little hotter. she looked back at him lazily "I can't imagine myself being that old yet but my family used to be able to live for centuries... to me that sounds scary ha ha"

Leo smiled at her and sat back down, "Yes, I could have guessed that," he said and looked up at her smiling, "I think I was meant to take that 'Old man' comment as a compliment so that’s what I will do I guess," he laughed gently, his laugh was cold and rung out harshly into the black of the forest all around them making small animals shudder and large one stand still in their tracks. He sighed and looked around, "It would be best if we stayed here now that we have a fire any everything, owh and about being this old," he looked up to her with a strange look, it could almost be regret, "Its not good, you see so many things that you wish you hadn’t, I have lived through many wars and helped out in a few yet still it can not help to soften the guilt in my soul," he gazed off into nothingness and he seemed to go into his own world.

Fyate looked at him lazily seeming not intimidated by his laugh but wanting to hear it again. She only heard someone laugh like that once in her life and it was from her father before he passed away. "I'm afaid unlesss I'm killed I won't be able to die like a human" she sighed not reallyliking wars so obviously not wanting to see them "Must be hard for you to see all this but the bright side is you know more about this world then alot of people" she smiled "even me" She tilted her head lightly "Maybe you can help me do you know spells?"

Leo closed his eyes and let out a long low sigh, "Did anyone ever tell you that you talk too much?" he asked and opened one eye smiling at her in a cheeky way and smiled, he stretched again and closed his eyes again, "I will try my best, but that can wait until the morning, now go to sleep," he turned over and mumbled something, the heat of the fire stayed the same but the fire disappeared, "We don’t want people to see us, I really cant be bothered killing tonight."

She grinned at him from where she was sitting. "As a matter of fact they have" she laid down and curled into a ball still smiling. She heard a light mumble and saw that the fire went down. Yay! He knows spells! She looked at him from where she was and saw that his eyes were closed. I need to take a bath I smell like fish She stood up quietly and tried not to make any noise. She looked at him again seeing that his eyes were still closed. Ok then I'll just rinse off... She looked at her reflection in the water the only light that helped her see herself was the moon. She smiled at herself in the water and the stopped looking a little serious Jeez, It's not that I talk too much It's just I haven't talked to anyone in a long time. She stuck her hands in the watter and brought it up to her face mumbling a small spell to keep the sound as silent as possible.

Leo slept silently; he had slipped away into his dreams.
He was sat in a dark pace shaking gently, he could hear screams and yells as he pushed his way out of the cupboard he could see his mother getting stabbed through the heart, he screamed and a blade went through the back of his neck.
Leo sat bold upright and looked around, she was gone he groaned and grabbed his sword as he started to walk into the forest, he saw her bent over the water and he leaned on a tree to watch her silently, just to protect her.

Fayte looked at herself again and sighed feeling herself get edgy for no reason. She stood up and yawned. She summoned her book to her with the practiced incantation and then stared at it I don't understand it! ... ... I don't understand any of it... She Held it above her as if to throw it into the river and watch it wash away and sighed again. Why do I have to have the same fate as my family? ... I want to live long enough to see the world... the world... "the world will never be light..." She smiled to herself remembering that her grandfather said that and felt tears swell up in her eyes. She shook her head and let her hand with the book go down to her side. She rubbed her eyes with her free hand and sat down she brought the book up to her chest and hugged it laying down face staring at the river. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Leo watched her growing angry, he smiled watching her as she feel asleep, he turned as if to leave but shook his head and sighed. He walked over to her and gently lifted her into his arms, he mumbled a spell and the book fallowed him as he walked her back to camp, he smiled and placed her down, he looked at her and heated up the camp a little more, he was getting soft, he lay down next to her and closed his eyes falling asleep with one arm draped over her almost protectively, he slipped into another dream but this one was not as bad.
