Violence is incredibly cool - people confronting their problems, physically enforcing their views and opinions on others.
What's not cool is people dying or getting hurt.

If War just had lots of pretty explosions and everybody got to go home intact afterwards, I'd be in The Army ^_^

I'm pretty confident I didn't miss quote...but whatever.

I was saying that the others in this thread such as rugged are saying that violence is good, while your saying its bad

Nowhere in that Quotation did I say that Violence is good, since by the definition you gave beforehand, what I describe as cool (Violence without anybody getting harmed) isn't Violence at all.

You said I support Violence when I don't.

According to wikipedia, Violence doesn't have to happen to be violence, its also the intention to cuase damage.

Then my definition and Emmanuela's are different; so you can't say that I support what she says is wrong.

Violence is very wrong, and sadly there are many people who disagree because they fing it amusing. Fighting someone or something has become a major way of entertainment (Wrestling, Boxing, Bullfighting, etc.) look at the Colosseium gladiators and slaves were forced to fight and many were fed to half-starved animals. Ghandi, and Martin Luther King Jr. showed that you do not need to use vioence to get the things you want. Violence belongs in the movies and not on a battlefield.

I agree with most of what you said. But isn't wrestling staged? Some 'fighting' sports are fine though. I don't like things like boxing or anything involving animals but martial arts are great. I myself am a yellow belt in Judo and even though you 'fight' people it is all about technique and respect and is performed in a very safe way with rules like never being allowed to touch someones face. It is also very un-aggressive as if you get angry you will lose the technique and your opponent will win.
