Well, you'd need to do a proper comparison with your local prices and those at Thomann. At least in finland's case, Thomann tends to be cheaper and also offers a larger selection of choises than an average local music shop.

Of course, I need to count in that by average the shipment to Finland costs 20€, so if the savings don't sum up enough, it makes very little sense to order from Germany.

But like with my edrumkit, I saved like 200€ by buying from Thomann.

How does that convert to dollars?

I'm gettin' an epiphone, only about $399, maybe $299. A lot cheaper. Same effect, right? I can't wait, anything but my Starcaster. I like Fender, but they are way to, bleh. I like flashy guitars, with good sound.

But will it sound good?

Of course. I'm a poor white boy, anything is better than the super-low end Starcaster I have now.
