I've never had dreams like that.I only get taunted by my friends at school.Just yesterday a gurl waved a peice of ham in my face and said, "Ewww!Eww!Look at it!It's gross isn't it?" Or durring parties at school when there's sausage or eggs kids will come up to me stick it in my face and say, "Poor cow!Poor cow! What are you going to do?Does it hurt to see this?!"They all laugh at me.But I won't change for that fact. No, I keep to my beliefs. cool

nope, i can honestly say that ive never had any such dream. Reseached what was going on behind the scenes with animals, realized that me eating meat completely contradicted all my views of equality that I claimed to have, watched animal rights videos all night, cried myself to sleep, and it was absolute from that day forward.

You figure that out on your own?" and so basically their reason is humans are superior to animals because the animals are animals... how does that make any sense? Always stick to your beliefs. You're stronger than them. Atleast your strong enough to see through it all, and smart enough to have escaped the brainwash that holds them all prisoner. I used to be somewhat tolerant of someone eating meat even as a vegetarian, but now ive pretty much gone extreme and say that there is absolutely NO reason that justifies eating meat. none, and anyone eating meat due to apathy is an idiot

When ever I tell them they reffer to the Bible. they're all like, "It says in the Bible, man is superior to animals, and they should kill them for essentials." Then I answer back, "SO!?!? I don't believe every thing the Bible says! Are you really gonna live your entire life eating gory foods that make you sick and yet you're to ignorant to realise it!?!?!"

Exodus 21:7-11 NLT and Exodus 21:20-21 NAB. There's more, but it would take up the entire post. sweatdrop

I always have nightmares I start to eat meat and don't realize what I'm doing. Then I freak out and my parents don't understand why and I say to my mom [who is/was an alcoholic] "MOM, WHEN YOU HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF ALCOHOL IT'S A BIG DEAL AND YOU HAVE TO START ALL OVER!".

I haven't had any, ever. But the other day, my friend's mom fixed me some chicken noodle soup, and I decided to just be polite and eat only the noodles. Apparently I had accidentally eaten a piece of chicken, because about 10 minutes later I was vomiting. I've been veggie for about 3 years now, so I guess my body's just not used to meat.

I've been cravin' a hot dog for over 2 and a half years. The vegetarian ones just don't taste the same. I hate how they're made, but man were they tasty. I think I crave 'em so bad because that's what was for dinner the night I became a vegetarian.

When I first became a vegetarian I was way more energetic than I'd ever felt before. I'm at over 3 years now and I've had a few dreams about eating meat, but they're like nightmares where i eat meat by accident and wake up like "AHH! WTF?"

I've had the same dreams about lots of things. Whenever I start a new discipline I always dream I'll forget about it and break it [fasting, etc... heck even dating! gonk ]. It's totally normal, it's just anxiety over your mind having one more thing to keep track of, or something like that blaugh

TREEhuggerr On Monday, I will have been a vegetarian for three weeks. I know that is not a long time, and I was wondering if anyone had the same thing happen to them when they first stopped eating meat.
Lately, I've been having dreams about eating meat. I don't think it's because I want to or I miss it, because I don't miss it at all! But like... last night, I had a dream that I was eating like... some beef jerky or something, and then I realized that it was meat and felt really guilty.. but I kept eating it anyways. A couple of nights ago I had a dream that my friend bought me a cheeseburger, and I ate like half of it until I realized what I was doing and went into the bathroom to throw it up. I've had other little dreams like that too. Did anyone else have weird dreams like these? lol. I was just wondering, I thought it was really weird. nope.. but its ok.. oh and i havent been veg for so long either.. on april 27th it will be 5 months.. so dont feel bad
