That Clears it up... So technical Death is just more technical playing? that makes sense. So Wim, you like Death? I know you don't like black metal, and I didn't like both, then I got into black metal, and finally started to like Death. And now I'm a fan of both.

i don't like the genre very much..
i sometimes love the music, but the vocals turn me off, unless i'm pissed off 3nodding
ow and if you look into my profile you can hear 2 death metal songs.
one from disillusion (progressive medolic death)
one from gojira (don't know that kind of death, i think technical..)

Gojira is death/thrash, although they do have some technical qualities sometimes. Pretty good band. mrgreen

I'm getting Origin. "Echoes of Decimation" next month. I asked my Uncle what the heaviest, most brutal, fastest, craziest Death Metal album was and he told me that one, and my birthday is next month, and I hinted that I wanted that, and he hinted that I'm getting it. I can't wait, what I heard was AMAZING, they are definitely a great band. The drummer plays so fast I thought he was on speed. I asked my Uncle how much speed he took to play that fast and he said, "I saw them and talked to the drummer after the show and he was totally sober." I was fairly amazed.
