Thats all they are useful for. If they were to be more powerful, then everyone would be equipped with one, but I would b undecided on wether my assassin would equip great bow or katana.

I find them very useful in the beginning cuz there's no way to get to high places unless you equip stuff that lets you jump high. That's why when any of my characters is a ninja, I let it hold two Mythril katanas, a germinas and something else that might help increase his jump capabilities as well. The problem is, in the beginning the only way to get any Mythril weapons is pure luck. I have 3 Mythril blades and only one katana for now. rolleyes

When I was first starting out, I didn't know anything about abilities and I always though that the Mythril weapons were the best of them all. Boy was I wrong. XD

I believe we both were. I was pretty sure one of those had to have a cool attack strength. Oh well... rolleyes

Just to possibly angry people, I started a new file and did random battles as soon as I could. I got every type of Mythril Weapon in a row. One after another. I didn't even get any repeats!

Come on dude, don't be like that... Like you said, not everyone has that kind of thing happen to 'em. I don't know what the chances are of it happening but I'm rather skeptical about anyone being able to obtain all the M. type weapons in a row like that. rolleyes I've had the Mythril blade pop up more times than I would have liked...

He-he, it's ok man. Gee, you got me good. I guess I take things a little too serious most of the times I don't even know when someone is joking anymore. I guess it's also tough to tell when reading about it... Say, has anyone had the chance of seeing more than one "Metal" listed in the trade items section of a shop after you trade? I have but it's very rare and I usually don't get the mythril weapon I need. At least I don't have to worry about it for now...

Thanx Marth-chan. At least YOU get me. No-nobody gets me... cry (to get this joke, you must visit this site or check out my journal entry) Anyway, he-he... the only way of obtaining these darn weapons is through the trade items or, by the method I posted earlier; which can be a bit of a drag but it's the only choice if you don't have anyone to trade with like mentioned on page 1. rolleyes

XD Awwwwww. I like when people type "End of Sarcasm" after their sarcasm. I find it humorous. And a drag it is. ~sigh~ I haven't gotten any new Mythril Weapons, even with that method. I reset a clan battle five times before I gave up. XP Maybe my game just doesn't like me?

I asume you must have seen the multimedia thing I have on my profile, yes? It's a very funny Castlevania parody. (Edit: It's not there anymore, I moved the link to my journal) But gee, maybe yer game does hate you. Even though that's practically impossible since games can't exactly think stuff about their users... rolleyes

Mithril weapons are hard to come by but I got a pretty good pile of them that I'm currently not using. ^^ But the only thing that they are really good for is combo's for that class. The best part is that I changed my templer back to a white monk just so that he could learn the monk combo, but as soon as he mastered the combo I changed him back to a templer and it still worked! So yeah.

Well, that's not the only thing they are good for. If you notice, they also give you a "Jump" boost. If you want to make a character jump higher for a certain battle on an uneven terrain (Especially one with mounds or so), then a mythril weapon is what you should equip. At least, they're pretty good if you don't have a lot of Fairy or Galmia shoes. The Galmia shoes are even harder to come by than mythril weapons. 3nodding I only have 2 of those in my second file. rolleyes
