I didn't get to buy it yet, but I saw the commercial for it on MTV2. It was funny. Artcia and Art (the AFI dolls) was on it. xd
Edit: Is it Morticia or Articia? I'm not sure...

Wizzle When you said their selftitle CD, I thought you were talking about their selftitled EP. 14 songs? That actually is kind of a lot, and for $13? God, you are a little whinny one.
2. 14 songs isn't alot for being a compilation, or 'greatest hits'. It doesn't really sum up all they had to offer over at Nitro.
3. Just because I said it 'wasn't worth the money' means I was whining. I was saying, if you already have all the vinyls, cd's, etc.. it's nothing really new to you, and if you want to go ahead and buy something you already have, go ahead. It was just a forewarning.

That is funny about the name b/c my boyfriend has it (danm me being poor) and we couldn't decide if it had a name or not.

I heard about it and was rather confused that a Retrospective would be released when A.F.I have been saying how it's not the time to be looking back. I'm definately getting it. biggrin

i just got it 2 days ago. i like it. i think they did a good job of picking good songs, but thats just my oppinion. though im glad i bought it.

Has anyone been on AFireInside.net lately?
It talks about Retrospective.
I was surprised at what I read:
"To any of our fans who may have bought Nitro Records' AFI anthology, we
would like you to know that the decision to create this compilation
was made solely by Nitro Records. While we are extremely proud of our body of work over the years, we would like you to know it was not the band's decision to compile, create or promote a "retrospective" at this point in our career. If you should enjoy it or hear something you've been unable to find elsewhere then great, but please understand it was conceived and sold without our input. We are much more focused on creating our new record for our fans and seeing you all on tour next year."
That made me sad..

Shazay There are a couple of songs that used to be vinyl only but thats it XP
A Winter's Tale, Lower It, Perfect Fit, Rolling Balls, and Who Said You Could Touch Me? What about My Michelle and Mini Trucks Suck... ect?

I just bought it today, I'm pretty happy with it. I don't have all of their CD's just yet(I'd have to oder them in through the CD store in town but I don't have any money to pay for shipping and handleing right now) so the CD was good so I'll know what to expect when I get the last couple CD's of theirs.
