Do people who do witchcraft or are wiccan believe in satan/the devil?
Whether you are pagan, neo-pagan, wiccan (which is neo), or are a traditional witch, the answer is:
Yes and no.
In all technicality, its yes. Since many belief that the origins of satan, or similarities are from the Horned God. As in image, He looks very similar to the Christianized 'devil'.
And then, we all know the 'no'. Simply because the Horned God is not this 'evil' being depicted in Christian mythology and theology.
Other names or correspondants for/with Him are; Horned God, Great Horned God, Veles (slavic), Forest Lord, Cerunnos (celtic), Caerwiden (welsh), Pan (greek) and the satyrs.
Also a little random side note --
Did you know that 'catholic', with a small 'c' means "Open to all", a generic term borrowed by the first Christians to entice people into their churches (http://www.tylwythteg.com).

Some people think I am a vampire, but they know I am a witch. I dont know why but when I touch a cross I start crying.......... And it burns... But anyways.... People think I worship the Devil....... And people keeep making fun of me "Do a spell!!!! You can't do it!" Its hard for me to concentrate and do something when people are yelling at me.

When I revealed I was wiccan to my friend in my second secondary school, he said:
"...what the hell is wiccan?"
I forgave him for this, as it isn't widely known, and I told him it was a (neo)pagan religion, at which he said:
"Pagan? Didn't they sacrifice animals? I thought you were vegetarian..."
And I got so damn angry at him! I ended up spending 10 minutes explaining it to him, and he told me to prove it to him, so I said I'd do a spell (which I'd learned a few days before) to get two of my friends to become friends again (they had had a fight, and I didn't want that to make them argue), so I did it, in front of him.
One hour later, it worked, and now he believes in the things that I do, but stays true to his religion (Hindu), which I don't mind really - I was only trying to prove that I'm not a animal-sacrificing maniac with an altar, set of nails, and a knife used to shed blood.
I also said to him I was going to by a knife (I can't remember what they are called, but I meant the knives that we use to cast circles and the like, not to kill), and he was like: "Oh, so you do kill animals?" and I had to explain to him AGAIN that I didn't.
We both got fed up of these long speechs I kept making, lol.

It's called an Athame, Dale. And the (traditionally) white-handled knife is called a Bolline (sp?).
Anyway, when people ask me to do I spell, I simply tell them (in these words) : "It's not gonna happen instantly, dude/sweety/dear/love." And they usually have no further comment. Then all the Mexican/Hispanic girls come to me for readings and spells... Odd.

I was in IT last week and i was showing a m8 about the (sorry if this offends anybody (im not american ya see) the 911 Flight number on wingdings conspricy, and it is a star of david with a skull and crossbones, with a plane going into 2 towers he said "isnt that the pagen symbol?" i said "no, thats 5 points dumbass... why do u think its called a PENTancle?" "ooh yeah right, Arnt they the 1s that worship trees and kill goats for satan?" My reaction was a literal eek then scream spend the next 5 minits laughing at him and calling him a complete tard.
