Pachulo
isnt burst the AOE skill?
It is.
Burst Crack: An area of effect skill that smashes the ground and inflicts damage to the target and monsters within the surrounding area.

Pachulo
well try my build:
Str:Xx
Sta:40
Dex:63
Int:15

you will need to master:

Burst Crack- surprised
Beef up
Heep Up
Haste
Cannon Ball

and the others one i dont currently remebr the name

with Cannonball mastered you will have the SpeedBreak for dex and you should be fine I am doing a lot of AOE with that build and i am doing fine 3nodding

Is anyone else could do this but in a bit more detail, eg: oreder in which to master things, things which i don't need, a fuller list of buffs etc.

Also some other people use more Stamina, but i get like 76 stamina or so when i buffeed myself.

I think the Buff you might want to master first would be Patience and Heap Up (one with the arm right?) so you can have more Stamina.

crying *cries*

I find the Assist class the absolute most HARDEST class to wrap my head around!!!

Is there anywhere that I can go to read everything about the assist class, strengths and weaknesses of spells, stats, etc, what are the pros and cons of each class and why you would want to choose to be those builds and what exactly those builds entail in the long run? how stats affect spells, and other abilities (defence etc etc)?
AND lists it all out for each build rather than many different points of each build in one big lump all mashed together?

I think I find it confusing because its not a matter of just one or two builds to get a grip on.. there is something like FIVE builds and ways you can go xp its just so complicated!!

So far I have decided that most of the time Im 1v1 (my assist is only lvl 1 cool but im not sure if I want to continue down that path... I have only done one part assisting so far (last night with Tzu) and well.. besides getting antsy that I wanted to kill something.. I thought it was ok! Only thing with going down that way is - I only ever get invited into party on very very rare occasions!

Can anyone provide me with very clear information and also what to do at rough level intervals? for instance..

"at the start it dosen't matter how much Int/dex you have.. what matters is how many HP you have if your doing 1v1 all the time.. so feed this many points into blah and blah until you have ## points in these skills at lvl ##"

I know thats alot to ask.. but really im so LOST with this class....

Well, I went down the FS path...

I have to say V7 has cut back a ways though. The way I choose is too expensive I think. Rori plain and clean is usually 30+m...

Then there is Wedge, or the female 45 set... Overall by lvl 45 you should want to have 90m or so to get what you need. Not including rings and such... yet you use that equipment until lvl 90 at least, if not your whole career.

Here are my stats, with, and without buffs.

Other from that, you see a lot of int... Why you ask? Int effects time duration of buffs and also what you heal for. It's about 3 points of heal per buff, and some odd seconds per heal(I think around 4).

For buffs, Patience isn't that useful...(Only increase health, not STA) Max heap! (ANy status point buffs are nice, I want to max all of mine, because that is how most people rate, along with how long they last....) I am going to after I get heal to 15, then I will get my RM req, then go back to my buffs... V7 puts almost any assist on a budget. Luckily I really do a lot an dpeople like how I FS. Yet it is also a very poor route to go. You don't get many items, tips at times, but mostly, that is it.

Good idea to have a first character first, then make your assist second or third.

My god. Rori's are like 5 mil.
I couldn't fs because of how boring it is. You stand there and heal and buff.
you get killed easily. Random people treat you like slaves.
Not for me. I just couldn't do it.

Aibatts prices are jacked to hell... I mean really... PD4 = 400k, PD12 10+m... It's insane, but fun none the less... 5m isn't that much... I mean, I spent that on SoVP plain. Remember Aibatt...

Something I've noticed.. I'm getting about 2.5 skill points per level at level 20 on my assist character
on my mage character I was lucky to get 1 or 2 points per level at the same level.. which has evened out because now he gets at least 2 points per level at level 40.
Could this have something to do with the the amount of points you use? because my mage character had heaps of points in his spells early on, then I used his reskill and only put points into the spells he needs to their minimum...
Or does it have something to do with the new system and the dishing out of skill points for people who had already leveled skills and therefore got a sh!t load of points and it was just the way of the system catching up with them?

on another subject
with my assist stats - I have just been placing them haphazardly wherever I want to.. Im still not sure how certain stats affect certain things in the game....

and another subject still!
I think we will be getting dog and cat pets soon! I have been wandering the other flyff sites shops and peeking ^__^ I saw dogs and cats there xd

My merc gains around 2 points per lvl at lvl 41. My RM gains like 0.001exp per lvl or some such nonsense. Well she does have more skillpoints since shes a pre-v7 RM but still. It's appaling. Imma need two reskills when i hit 90(RM) and 60(K). crying

You saw dog and cat pets in the shop?! WHAT? eek Screeny plz.

In the Japanese version of Flyff.. Not sure, but my friend says they are way ahead of us in versions and we might not even be getting cats and dogs crying that makes me so sad...
