I just asked someone, apparently it only costs like 2k per subforum. Not sure, though.

Next Dollar After are we really busy enough to warrant seperate forums for different avenues of discussion? I dont think I've ever seen this forum move any faster than an uphill snail.

Not necessarily, but my idea is that it would encourage different types of discussion, so we can have a separation between politics, DIY methods, musical taste and just plain fun.
Besides, it's hard to talk about random things with all of these serious topics in the same forum. Too stiff in my opinion. lol. This way we can make separate areas for politics, and our irl personas. That way we'll probably gain more long- standing members, and make even more of a community for the one we already have.
And to solve the problems of creating a public mod account, we could also create a locked, mod- restricted "archives" forum, so we can be autonomous while preserving all of the ideas and issues that have passed through here over the years. Any ideas?
