This sucks. I'm going to be in college by the time Halo 3 comes out. All my still-in-high-school friends are going to be basking in the glory of Halo 3, and what will I be doing? Studying in a dorm room.

Sadly Seph, so will I...except, NOTHING will prevent me from playing Halo 3. Plus, I'll be going to a gamer's college anyways, Halo 3 on Legendary's probably gonna be some kind of first semester extra credit assignment. xD

Lord Eneon As much as I enjoy talking about Halo 3... isn't this a Gears of War discussion forum? so maybe we shouldn't be so off-topic. this subforum is called chatterbox, theres no such thing as offtopic aaaaaanywho, i think the beta alone is betta then gears could ever think of being... ive only played it for like a week, and i already cant imagine going back to H2.... theres just so many differences H2 seems like a N64 game now lol

[Its me 11rt] Im not unless they changed the plot because for halo 1 and 2 they were the same plots and that was just gay. So if anybody gets it tell me if its a diffrent plot until then its GOW 2 for me.

So if anybody gets it tell me if its a diffrent plot until then its GOW 2 for me. well GOW2 is gonna be the same plot as GOW, ya kno... kill all locust? if u have a sequel to a game, arent u kinda obligated to go from where the first game left off? at least halo is trying to have a interesting story... Covenant is trying to activate halo to destroy all life, MC and the Arbiter have to make sure that doesnt happen... gears is just (so far) kill all locust b4 they kill us

For some reason I wasn't really impressed with the Halo 3 Beta. Maybe I just like GoW's style of play because I got kinda bored of the Beta after a week or so. Not saying it sucks, but I still think GoW is better.
I'm still getting Halo 3 either way though.

Raunzel For some reason I wasn't really impressed with the Halo 3 Beta. Maybe I just like GoW's style of play because I got kinda bored of the Beta after a week or so. Not saying it sucks, but I still think GoW is better.
I'm still getting Halo 3 either way though. the beta was really just a glimpse at what the final game is gonna be... ive always been a halo fanboy, probly always will... but ive been watchin a bunch of GOW montages, and im startin to get into it a lot... either way in my opinion, the beta trumps gears... but their style is so different they arent really even comparable...

I couldn't even get around to playing the beta...somewhere between finals, vacationing, and the fact that my Xbox Live expired, I just couldn't get to it.
And on another note, somehow my little brothers managed to rip one of the USB ports out of my 360, so now I've only got two controller ports left, minus wireless controllers. >_>
