At first, it seemed like the radio was broken. The loud buzzing was downright anxious. But then the voice of the radio announcer was clearer than ever...

"A special weather warning is coming to you live from HamHam Radio! It looks like the warm front over the ocean has gained treacherous amounts of wind and water and has now been classified as a Tropical Storm. It seems to be heading right towards us here on the coast, and from the looks of it will only be gaining in power. We advice all residents to prepare for the largest hurricane this city has ever seen!!!"

That's right everyone! This begins our next RP Event! Start getting ready for the Hurricane (use google if you need to know what to do), because who knows how long you have before it gets here... ninja

Cliff awoke from his nap on Choco's lap when he heard the news broadcast.
He froze when he heard, hurricane. He looked to at Choco's face, and he saw that she was just as scared as she was. He buried his head in her coat and hoped this was just a bad dream.

Choco picked him up and cradled him in her arms. "Don't worry Cliff, I'm sure everything will be alright. You heard the radio, all we need to do is be prepared."

Cliff peeked out his eye and sighed. "This isn't a dream." He looked at her anxiously. "Then what do we do?" He asked her nervously.

Choco, who has never experienced a tropical storm before didn't know what to do. But she tried to hide that from Cliff because he would go crazy if he didn't think that Choco knew everything in the world and that she will protect him from anything. So she just smiled and said. "I'm sure we will find out how to be safe."

Cliff was surprised at how calm Choco was. And because of that he started to calm down himself. Then he crawled down from her arms to look out the window. Outside the weather was changing. The trees were shaking because of the howling wind. Rain was beginning to fall and he was sure that it would become heavier in a couple more hours. The sun was nowhere in sight, nor was the moon. The only thing you could see in the shy was dark rain clouds, which seemed to have eaten the sun and the moon. "Choco! The clouds have eaten the sun and the moon!" Cliff screeched in terror.

Choco couldn't help but chuckling, but in such a bad time. "Cliff, don't worry. I'm sure Mr. Sun and Mrs. Moon will come back as soon as the hurricane is over."

She and Cliff started to gather things that they would need. Choco headed up stairs and collected the essentials: a radio, batteries, food, water, and a mattress for them to sleep on instead of the cold basement floor. On the other had Cliff collected what he wanted to bring with him, like his KiKi plushie, and some ongiri.

When they had everything they needed Choco directed Cliff to the basement. "Cliff, are you sure you have everything you need?" Choco asked as she bolted the door shut.

Cliff looked around, Kiki, ongiri, pillows. Then he nodded. "Yep." His voice was wearry, because he always had second thoughts what if I forgot something. But then he remembered as long as him and Choco were safe, that was all that mattered. That thought made the worries off his face go away, and were replaced by a nervous smile.

Choco and Cliff huddled together in the flashlight lit basement and listened to the wind howling outside their safe four walls and waited for it to be all over. Cliff fell asleep after awhile, and he hoped when he awoke, it would be all over.
