Bandi kept his smile. "My name? No matter. No one outside the land of Beksam know it, anyway. I am merely a traveler who trains himself for his own sake. Bandi Darkwoods would do for a name, I suppose." he replied. "And I just happen to collect all sorts of information as I go from town to town. I hear you make it a habit to slaughter Demons." He said answering the second question. His wording made his statement negative, however, his tone sounded more like an approval of their actions. "I happen to be a vigilante myself." He explained.

Hokyo spit onto the ground and than said without looking at Bandi and said "We aren't thrill seekers or anything, we are just doing it to protect those that are still alive in this world" he sighed looking up into the sky remembering his own past. It was often that Hokyo giving away the signs of his old positions in the world.
Soma sighed as he looked over at Hokyo and said "Don't even think about it, or I will kill you right here and now, understand?" his voice was rather cold and the words seemed to hold a meaning of truth. Though the topic was slightly blurred.
Daton laughed and looked at Bandi putting the flute on his lap, and said "Well Bandi, mine is Hojo, but everyone calls me Daton, the man that attacked you is Hokyo and the one which seems to be rude is Soma" he laughed again, he was a rather cheerful fellow. He placed his hands up to warm them beside the fire and said "We kill demons to make up for sins, though that could be considered a vigilante to, so what brought you way out here?" he was the most talkative in the group.

Bandi smiled warmly at Hojo, or Daton. He seemed the most warm and friendly and seems to be the most likeable of the group. "I just travel from place to place. No particular reason. I happen to have lost my country to return to." He explained. "Make up for sins, huh? That's an interesting point to look at. "I won't dwelve into your past, since I know how painful that is. I live for the present anyway."

The young woman, Kashi, sat in her small room in the rear of the towns in. That room and her meals were the only payment she'd take for the services she rendered with powers and sword. Her coat lay over the room's lone chair and she sat on the bed, combing out her long blonde hair. A bowl of water lay on the table beside the bed. Taking a cloth she wet it, running it over a cut in her arm. When the cut was clean she took a bandage and wrapped the wound. Then she lay back on the small cot, her eyes tracing patterns in the ceiling.

When she rose the next morning she had that feeling she got, when it was time to move on. She'd spent a month in the village, that was longer then she'd spent anywhere since her own village had been destroyed. She'd just wake up one morning with a feeling, and she'd know it was time to leave. She shrugged into her long coat and took up her sword, slinging the small pack that contained her belongings over her shoulder. The villagers watched her go. Finally her feet touched the open road and she travelled on.

Izel sighed and looked up at the stars. It had been roughly a year now. She slipped a thick cylindrical case off her back and held it in her hand instead. With her free hand, she slid a strand of hair out of her sight and continued her path. She then opened the case to reveal several of her belongings and another much thiner cylidrical case attached to the wall. However, she merely reached for a picture among other objects. It was a picture of the man she had been pursuing for the last year. She smiled sheepishly and slid it back in, closing the case once again. This time, she was lucky, and she received a certain information of his whereabouts. If she walked in haste, she might be able to catch up by dawn.
However, while she was smiling, she smelled a rank odor, and frowned. It was the smell of flesh rotting. Sure enough, four corpses were littered upon the ground of the road. Burned and blown up, stabbed, slashed, and split in the skull... Each blow were delivered with confidece. "I just may be on the right track..." [Edited]

The black haired woman happily walked down the market's streets. She smiled to herself, even now. If there was one thing in the world that she could be proud of, it would indeed be her thieving skills.
A few men came out of the front door to the building she had just made her escape from, and they didn't look very happy. "Everyone search for the woman!" The leader commanded.
The black haired woman suddenly stopped in her tracks, and looked down to her feet. She heard a clinging sound, and there on the road by her foot, she spotted the necklace that she had so cleverly stolen not so long ago. She must not have properly placed it into her inside coat pocket. She slowly glanced up at the men, only to find them staring at her in shock.
"It's Kira!" One of the younger lookng men exclaimed in surprise.
"And so it is... Arrest her, and get back the amulet!"
Kira, as the black haired woman had now been revealed as, laughed nervously to herself, before staring once more. Suddenly, as the men charged at her, she quickly picked up the necklace, and made a quick run for it.

Hokyo sighed and got up quickly from his spot and pressed his right hand on his sword, his very movement of the way he grabbed the hilt would make people wonder if he planned on drawing it. Though he didn't he simply walked away into the darkness of the night and away from the warmth of the fire. He slowly came to the main road the only thing of him showing was that of his shadow which pressed against his own body as he looked up into the sky at the moon. His eyes shut for a moment as he spoke words of a different tongue it would seem, the world around him began to wave in fright at these words and than slowly it returned to normal. He stood there lost in thought of how he could not return to his old self. Slowly he fell backwards onto the ground the soft and moist grass welcoming him, his eyes fully open now and he spoke again though this time he was only talking to the darkness "I will sin until I fix my first sin" it was a true saying since that was all he wished.
Soma sighed and looked over at Bandi and said "Your rather wise not to push the buttons of me or Hokyo, digging into our past would have cost you, your left arm" Though Soma hadn't moved his eyes seemed to reveal a whole desire of blood and death to everything that was around him. He took his tea to his mouth again, he knew Hokyo would never harm another human as long as he could avoid it, but he would kill anyone that got into his way without mercy.
Daton laughed and said "Please don't worry about Hokyo or Soma they are anti-social and I fear they do not get along with others, much like children with a new toy" he laughed harder at the example he had given Bandi to explain Hokyo and Soma though that was only the surface of it. Daton than changed it almost seemed like he was as cold as the others and said "Bandi was it? I really must know why do you have the smell of freshly drawn blood of humans on you?" he was not like the other to beat around the bush and that was why everyone in this group had held something against Bandi since he entered the camp. Hokyo smelled the blood and drew his blade on habit thinking it was a demon, though Hokyo's cold blade could not match Soma's harsh words.

Bandi couldn't help a smile spreading on his face. "I had to rid some rubbish." He merely replied. And it was true in his opinion. He merely disposed trash. Any person who did not work for his own but reaped benefits from honest people were trash in his eyes.
He then eyed the two brothers. He wouldn't be able to dwelve in deep due to lack of eye contact, but he could read the air about the two. It seemed that the younger brother was actually fun loving and kind in nature, but had a serious view on responsibility and did not trust too many people. The older one, Soma, however seemed totally different. He seemed to genuinely love violence and blood, cold and hard even to those he knew well. Hojo, this one was a different story. He carried a kind and caring manner, a pure heart and noble mind. However...What was it that was buzzing in the back of his head? Something about this young Daton... He decided to shake it off, deciding that he was having a head ache or something of the sort.
He then felt a warmth of a human body approach their way. Now who could this be?

Izel passed the reaking mass of bodies and sped away, trying her best to catch up to whoever did this with the hope that it was the person she was looking for. She could feel her steps quickening and her sight blurring as she tapped into her gift before she could even realize she was doing so. others who saw her would merely see her briefly in between blurs, as if she was teleporting short distances at a time. She soon spotted a fire, and decided to take her chance with it. She lept to a tree on the other side of the road.

East bit into an apple and looked around the corner. Sure enough, there were sounds of people yelling about Kira the thief. Dropping the goods. A little sloppier than the rumors. He thought and threw the apple core away. He then threw a warm gust of wind towards her direction, just enough to be uncomfortably hot, but strong enough strength to knok the wind out of her. He drew his tonfas and stepped out of the corner, waiting for her reaction.

Bandi smiled when he noticed the zephyr and the blur in the road. He knew that familiar blur and who caused it. "Excuse me gentlemen." He announced to the trio and stood. "I have an old acquaintence to catch up with. Thank you for the warmth." He explained and dissappeared as quickly as he came.
Across the road, he leaned against a trunk of a tree and looked dead ahead, as if he was staring into space. "Agent Winfield." He said quietly, his eyes soft as he rolled the name off the tip of his toungue. The name meant much to him, even when he said it such a formal way.

Her eye's flashed as her former employer and master recited her name. She had been waiting for this moment for close to a year now, but wasn't quite sure whether he was calling her or just saying her name in reminescent. She was hoping for the second to be the truth, for if it was so, that would mean he remembered her as well.

Hokyo which was far away from the group still looked up at the sky, slowly he raised from his place on the ground. His eyes adjusting to the road where he was near, away from the fire he could still hear the man which had joined them. As he stood he brushed himself off and turned to head back. Though he was stopped as he heard the rustling of leaves in the distance were the Soma and Daton were still. His eyes scanned the air, he growled lightly as he saw that there were not demons attacking the group. He took a deep breath though his mouth opened to make a yelling sound, there was no noise that came from it.
Soma which had watched Bandi leave, suddenly stood his cup of tea falling out of his hand. Both of his hands cross over each other and grabbed the hilt of both his swords. He stood without making any movement as the ground began to crack under the pressure of foot steps. His eyes darted back and forth as he waited he could see the shadows. His own aura had jumped as he waited for those that dared to attack them. Soon the first attacker flung from the darkness, the man was completely dressed in black. The only thing which was on him, was a strange symbol much like the two dragons that were tapped into Hokyo's sword. As the man's attack came downwards to attack Soma, he was stopped by one of Soma's blade and his second blade came out and stabbed the man in the chest. Blood ran down the blade and darkened the clothes more than its blackness. Soma pushed the man off his blade and waited for the next attacker.
Daton raised from his own spot more slowly than Soma. His flute in his hand vanished as a huge sword was creatured it held a white reflection in the light. The sword looked like it was made from bones of a creature that once had much power. Raising it to settle over his shoulders he stood the sword bigger than his own body. His eyes followed the liner of darkness and spoke to Soma "Why is it that they seem to be still following us, after all this time?" he was speaking of a cult which was once the central government in Shindi. These people bowed before the once great gods that had vanished, they held the symbol of the gods. Two dragon engaged in combat, one with wings and other based on the soil. The legend went that there were the real gods until what was called as the cult came and killed them off taking their bones and creating weapons and than forming Shindi into what it was today. Daton was surprised as one of the men jumped out behind him, though he couldn't move his sword fast enough, his eyes grew bigger out of fear. Though his fear quickly faded as a flash of shinning light went flying at the man. The man's own weapon was released from his grib and fell to the ground. As a second figure appeared what seemed to have skimmed across the soil, let his fist met the man's face and sending the man back into the darkness. Hokyo would never kill a human again, though he would not let harm befall Daton.

"That's odd... The Winfield I know would have zipped to my side before I could finish pronouncing her name completely." He said looking up, indicating he was fully aware of Izel's presense. He always treated her like this. Although talking strict and formal, his tone was always soft and his expression light. After all, she stood by his side ever since he was four and she three. She was more like a friend than a servant. His formal diction was merely a way of teasing her, since she would always become tense and gullible. To her, it seemed his word was absolute truth, even when he told her that Beksam was the only land in the world. He had fun with that one.
