" I knew they're not right all the time..." she muttered to herself.
"Oh, sorry. You see, I have visions of the future or what to come. I only saw you two, but Shale, you were...human. I didn't know you were a being of the heavens. Wow."

She stood awestruck for a while, then immediately stood straight up. She didn't say a word, though her lips were trembling. She shook her head and stopped glowing. "Do not glow. Stop right now." She pulled a hand from under her cloak, forming an ice dart.

"I saw a giant beast coming in this direction." A look of disgust was on Lunelvere's face. She made two ice stakes and tossed them to Jenny and Shale. "Here. Hold them just in case."

His glow immediately stopped, and he caught the stake in one hand, pulling out his sword with the other. He slipped silently to the wall, hiding behind a display.

"Jenny, you...Jenny? Uh, Where's Jenny? Oh wait..."
She stood straight up again. "I can't find her!" Lunelvere sighed. "Shale, just keep an eye out for her. Shale? Why am I always alone?" Then, an immense fire beast came around the corner. "Sh-sh-Shale? Help!" She slowly backed up, but stumbled and tripped. Now, she knew she was doomed.

Shale jumped out at the beast, swinging with deadly precision. The beast swung at him, glancing his shoulder, but Shale merely ignored it and plunged his blade into the beast. The creature had a perplexed look on it's face, as Shale began to glow, the light flowing up the sword and into the monster. Beams of light began to shoot out of it. As more and more shot out, Shale glowed brighter and brighter, and in the back it starting shaping to form wings. His black hair turned white, and bright armor with holy symbols spread across it. The monster howled to the heavens as the light pierced him all over until he finally exploded in a flash of light, ashes drifting to the ground.
As the light faded away, Shale seemed to turn back to normal, save for the burn on his arm being gone. He swayed with exhaution and fell forward.

An angel? Lunelvere thought. "Shale!" She shook away the fear and sprang quickly to her feet to catch Shale. She fell over, breaking his fall. "Wow. The first guy I ever met is already on top of me... This is awkward." she thought aloud as she struggled to get up from under the unconsious Shale. She slid out from underneath him. Lunelvere formed a bed out of ice and gently laid her cloak on it. She then used all of her strength to pick Shale up and laid him on the bed. "Now...let's see..." She slowly undid his shirt to check for any wounds.

((Sorry, sometimes I have a hard time updating...))

Jenny emerged from the shadows then, before being too shocked by Shale's display to move from the shadows she immediately found as a hiding place.

"Heh...well, that was quite an impressive display..." she said, finally getting her voice back. "Are you okay?" she asked Lunelvere, adding her question in as she helped roll Shale off of her to one side.

Suddenly reaching for her little canvas pouch, she manuevered her fingers inside to bring out a small crystal of green agate. Closing her eyes and holding it to her chest, a small glow was emitted from her enclosed palm and she set the now-glowing crystal to Shale's forehead, letting the light attempt to envelop him. Jenny spoke in an odd language then, beautiful and sad at the same time.

"Ahhhh....hopefully, that will help him recover," she finally spoke after the incantation, opening her eyes and letting the crystal's light die down before taking it off of Shale. "Green agate is always good for healing exhaustion, physically and mentally. I just hope that that was what his problem was..."

"Yeah, I'm fine, just worried over him." She sighed at Shale. As soon as the crystal was removed, Lunelvere slowly dropped to her knees and bent over his body, gently placing her ear on his chest...

He stirred, letting out an exhausted groan.
"Oh, man, what hit me?" He suddenly shot up, quickly glancing around.
"What happened? Where'd that thing go?"

Sighing with relief, Jenny smiled.

"Oh, good...the crystal did its job. I was worried for a second there..." she breathed.

"That thing, whatever it was, I believe got either annihilated or just went back into hiding..." Jenny explained. "But whatever it was, I think there's more where it came from..."

She doubled over, being knocked over by Shale getting up. "At least I didn't need to give mouth-to-mouth...ew" Lunelvere muttered. "But yeah. I think you actually killed it." She looked over her shoulder and shivered. "Geez, it's cold!" She stood up. "Where's my..." She looked down. "Oh yeah." Lunelvere stopped shivering and pulled out her flute. She wove a harmonic melody into the air, entering Shale and Jenny's minds. "Playing flute helps calm my nerves."

"I destroyed it? What are you talking about? All I can remember is hiding behind the display, then I felt a surge of power, and everything went blank."

Jenny calmly listened to Lunelvere's flute-playing. She always liked the sounds of reed instruments for some reason...

"Yeah, I believe that surge of power is both what knocked you out and killed whatever the hell that creature was," she slowly explained to Shale. "It was an amazing display, Shale--I've never seen anything quite like it."

"Hm, quite impressive, I must say. But honestly, I have never seen so much energy like that. I didn't expect it to be inside you... Oh, here." Lunelvere blushed as she handed Shale his shirt. "Sorry, just wanted to make sure you didn't have any wounds or anything. And thanks for saving me." Her cheeks were now a deep crimson.

Her thoughts raced. Is this the angel that was in the vision...? That was a pretty interesting one... And he does look like him...

"Say, Shale? Do you battle evil beings a lot?" she asked, filled with curiosity.

((no one's responding T-T))

Jenny would poke Shale to see if he was out of it. Definitely, he was.

"Hey, Lunelvere, why don't we leave Shale to his thoughts and go explore the rest of this place?" she commented.

"Mmmmmmm........ I don't know. I mean, if something or someone comes to attack him in this state, it could be fatal..."

Stay with him a little voice cried in Lunelvere's head. Stay, he is the one. Stay with him, aid him, protect him... That was all the voice said. "But I'm not strong enough!" Lunelvere yelled aloud. She immediately blushed.

"Jenny, you go on. I just have a few questions for Shale." She looked down at the dazed angel laying on the ice bed.
