Kat couldn't resist grinning as she abandoned her pole in favor of laying on her stomach, propping her chin against her palm as she hung over the edge of the overhang. A light weight on her back announced the flying pig's choice of seating, and the pair watched Darrin's plight.
"I don't think you need my help," she remarked cheerfully. "Looks like you've got that taken care of yourself."
The pig on her back squealed a "Buhi!" of agreement, and the two adopted identical expressions of false innocence as they smiled down at him.

Retloc looked up suddenly. He found the stream...or more accurately, Jekylmeyer did. He seemed to be a magnet for misfortune. "Ugh...I just dried off..." Retloc motioned for Jekyl to come to him, which Jekyl sullenly obeyed. Retloc grabbed the sopping cat and crouched down. He looked around, and, finding nothing, closed his eyes to sharpen his hearing. There it was. A rustle in the distance. He snapped his eyes open and began to stalk towards the creature... Moving around a tree, he spotted his prey. It looked like a feathered monkey. Retloc sighed. "How odd," he thought. He got into a ready position....

Retloc pounced. The monkey lept up a tree before he caught it, and he continued his pursuit. "Almost...got it!" He clambered up the tree after the nimble animal jumping from one limb to the next. Going through tree after tree, he seemed to have lost track of it, when he turned and saw it at the end of a limb on the edge of the forest. Retloc threw himself forward. He caught the feathered monkey around the middle and crashed down into Crystal lake. His hand burst through the shining surface clutching tightly around the sopping feathered monkey. His head came up after, yelling. "I gotcha now!" Unfortunately, a large fish jumped up and snatched his prize from his hands. "OH, NO YOU DON'T!!!" He dove after the fish, swimming as hard as he could. Flames began licking through the water, sending steam up to the surface. With a final kick, he snatched the fish's tail and began pulling upwards. "That's MY MONKEY!!!" Holding his prize fish above his head, he began wading back to shore.

Darrin pried, pushed, and shoved, but no amount of physical exertion would persuade the fish to loosen its death grip on his arm. " You guys suck!" he hollered up at the two watching him with smug expressions on their faces. " Traitor!" he shouted to Bacon in particular. And then, to the fish," Get off me, you damn water-dwellin' scaly piece of - Aha! I got it!" He left off struggling, and the flapping fish hung from his arm like a banner from a pole. Giving it one last kick to remember him by, Darrin waited as swirls of light and dust specks collected and began drifting around him. As the light intensified and he began dissolving, he smirked up at Kat and the pig - and the fish - and said," Let's see you try and bite my arm once I log off!" To his consternation, the fish began to dissolve with him . . . meaning that he would log back in with a fish clamped on his arm. " Noooo!! Crap! Crap, crap, CRAP!!" With the fish still in place, Darrin disappeared in a flash of light.

A light beeping sent Kat's ears stock straight as her eyes dulled momentarily, signalling activity outside the computer. When she returned, she sighed and lightly brushed Bacon from her back, scrambling to her feet.
Casting a glance down at Darrin, she called out, "Hey, I gotta go. My mom wants me to run some errands. I'll see you around, okay?"
The swirling lights flashed around her, and within seconds, she was gone.

Retloc tossed his fish lightly onto the bank. Jekylmeyer came over to him, mouth watering. "When...when can we eat it?" "Can you really eat anything? You are a plushie, after all." "Well..um...yes, yes we can!" Said Jekylmeyer defaintly. "Okay....then we'll eat as soon as it's cooked. Go get some sticks." Jekyl sprung to the task, snatching up sticks as he ran. Retloc began to cut the fish apart with some well placed karate chops, seeing as he hadn't any blade. When Jekyl returned, Retloc piled the stick together and created a spit to hold the meat on. He speared the meat like a shishkabob and put it up on the spit, then lit the fire with his gauntlet. "There we go..."

With the fish cooked, Jekyl began to move closer to Retloc as he removed the fish from the spit and tossed the flaming logs in the lake to extinguish them. Retloc kept several to smoke the fish with, though... which is just what he did. Hanging the fish out on some rope...Retloc stopped. "Man, I have to go!" He began to disintegrate into individual pixels of light. End transmission Jekylmeyer went forth to steal the fish from the string, then looked down at his body. "Aw, spoot." He too began to dissappear...

Kavik walked to the boat rental and rented a boat. On his way there, he observed some guys stuff getting stolen by a fish and laughed. Kavik wanted to fish for it and sell his stuff back to him. Now only to find his name to search him. Kavik drove his boat into the center of the lake and began fishing. The line began to tug so he started reeling. He caught the fish and put it into a bucket. He caught bass. and decided to use it as bait.

Kavik could feel the bass swimming underwater and waited untill it felt it was eaten. Kavik felt greater tugging and began to real. This time it was more of a struggle. Kavik got it on deck and the fish was huge. It weighed around 32 pounds. let alone the fact it was almost as big as Kavik. He used this fish as bait this time hoping he'd catch something huge.

Kavik waited about an hour and began to wounder if the fish was dead. He began to reel untill he was almost pulled in. The fish, or monster was putting a real good fight. Kavik Put his feet against the side of the boat and felt it begin to rock. He pulled back as hard as he could. He began to see a gigantic silhouette of gigantic fish growing bigger as it swam upwards. Kavik watched in horror and let go of the rod and jumped out of the boat. He didn't care if he had to pay for the damage, he began swimming as fast as he could. He say the fish was following him catching up with great speeds. Kavik drew his Katars and prepared to jab them into its mough and hang on for dear life untill an idea came into Kavik's head. kavik swam down as fast as he could and swam to the fish. He knew fish had to turn around just to make sharp turns. Kavik swam onto it's side and went to stab its gills. Kavik did so and started slashing it's sides slowly creeping his way to its eye sockets. The fish began swimming down, deeper and deeper. Kavik couldn't hold his breath any longer and swam upwards floating at great speeds to the surface. by the time he was at the surface, He swam to shore looked for the boat. he was amazed, it was not harmed. But he lost a rod. He thought it was a thousand fold better then loosing his life. Kavik went into the boat and drove it into shallow water where it would be easier to spear fish that swam close because of his shining katars.Kavim got one, two, three fish and began to dissappear with the fish.

Welcome, Retloc
Retloc began to rematerialize back on the bank of Crystal lake. He looked around wildly, then relaxed as he saw Jekylmeyer re-form on his shoulder. "Where's the fish?" "Is that all you have to say to me?" "Oh, yeah. Why are we on the WRONG BANK?!?!" Retloc stared around, then spotted his smoked fish on the other side of the lake, which was now drawing the attentions of the local wildlife. "Spoot!" Retloc took off, Jekyl close on his heels, blazing through reeds and bushes to get to it. He started waving at the collection of creatures now surrounding his food, then remembering his gauntlet, lobbed a fireball right into their midst. They scattered. "Yes! I got my breakfast!" Retloc scurried up to his fish and began pulling it off the line. He looked around for somewhere to store it, then remembered that he hadn't anywhere to put it. Instead, he sighed and took off his cloak. He wrapped the pile up in his traveling cloak and slung the sack over his shoulder. "I guess I should log out...so I can get to the Inn faster! Hehehe..."
