Taco Bell soft tacos are so good. xD And their nachos... OMG. <3 Their cheese is amazing.

Okay, bad topic, not being a good influence. But you seem to be doing well! But, I was looking at your other daily intake posts, and you seem (to me, at least) to not be having quite enough calories. I think that it would be better if you stayed between 1,000-1,300. Anything below 1,000 seems like it would be somewhat unhealthy (which is why I need to eat more tonight--I've only had about 770 calories so far).

Taco Bell is great. I love soft taco's with fire sauce. heart

Yeah, I learned that from all of you great people that I really do need to eat a bit more. It's scary though, because I always feel I'm going to go over and I really do not like more than 1200 for some reason. I guess because it feels like it is a lot. My favorite is when I get around 1000-1200. Some people suggest that anything below 1300 really hurts your metabolism but I don't know.

Dinner: Three tablespoons rice, few chunks of meat. Handful of fries from Wendy's.

It was my friend's birthday and we spent all day running around downtown! I found out that I can run now! Before I would feel like I was dying but now I was actually running with the skinniest people in the group, and keeping ahead! That is the first time in like 5 years! We went to Wendy's to meet up with another friend, and I wasn't tempted by the grease either! I got large french fries and we split it all (great portion control!) Then before the movie we decided we would ice skate instead of just sitting around by a restaurant's fireplace. I found out that I really need to practice on my balancing skills. lol It was so cold though as it got late into the night. When I got home around midnight I was quite hungry so I splurged on a tortilla with cheese because I was so proud of myself for being able to run! I found out that I actually really like running when it's with friends.

Wow, today feels good. The sun is out for the first time in a month, and I have some saved money ($80) to go to the Whole Foods Market. I got a shopping list with tons of fruits, veggies, granola, yogurts, and health cereals to get for the next two weeks. I feel really empowered today to go and do something. I found that snacking on grapes is AWESOME. It is so filling. I ate a handful while drinking water and it is really great. I need to buy more for these next two weeks. I also found out that pomegranites are quite filling and great for cravings because they are so sweet. wink

I got to go food shopping today! heart I was sort of rushed though because I had my mom with me, so I grabbed whatever I had come to mind and didn't spend all my $80 for two week of food as I had planned. So I bought a CD of my favorite band that is great to work out to that I had special ordered (Groove Coverage).

So for $40 at the Whole Foods Market, I was able to get:

Three Large Grapefruits -- $2.03
Large Pinapple -- $5.99
French Vanilla Almond Granola -- $1.97
Cinnamon Almond Granola -- $3.84
Box of Strawberries -- $3.99
Bag of Oranges -- $3.72
Organic Green Cabbage -- $3.55
Organic Celery Stalk -- $2.99
365 Yogurt (Quart Size) -- $2.49
365 Yogurt (Quart Size) -- $2.49
365 Crinkle French Fries *No Trans Fat -- $1.99
365 Pepper Strips -- $1.49
365 1% Gallon Milk -- $2.99
Bagged Ice -- $1.19
*Bought my mom a hot chocolate as well.

Drink: Sweetened Coffee.
Lunch: Two hard boiled eggs, 1/2 a grapefruit.
Drink: Tall glass of ice water.
Dinner: One cup lasagna with cheese, small fist size piece of bread.
Drink: 8 oz cup 1% milk.
Snack: Had to at least get to 1000 so I ate a sandwich. Two pieces Sara Lee whole wheat bread, slices of lean turkey, and a tablespoon mayo. Without this I would have only been at 875.
Exercise: 15 minutes on eliptical, 20 minutes on treadmill on extreme.

Estimated Calories: 1000 - 200 workout = 800.

Oh em gee. Tomorrow is my first weigh-in. I have to admit that I am pretty nervous. I noticed that I have really adjusted to eating healthy but it does not help that my mother keeps taking me to restuarants. I guess it just feels I am eating too much, and I hate going above 1200 calories a day. I should just be happy that dieting feels nice now and not something forced and like I am sacrificing something. It feels natural to want to eat better and no matter how many pounds I've lost in the two weeks I've been dieting, all that matters is that I have changed.

Today is a perfect example of how I want to be eating. It felt like I had eaten a lot but at the same time I was very good about calories. And I have enough calories left over from dinner to have a sensible snack! And I ate dinner before 7 p.m.! I have to say of all my days of dieting, today the was the model example of how I would like my diet to go. heart

An idea for restaurants....if you typically go to the same restaurants, you can look up the nutritional information on their website. My bf's mom takes us out to dinner once a week, so now I check out the site and plan ahead what I will eat.

That is a good idea. Luckily my mom sort of respects I'm on a diet and takes me to places with alternatives, such as the salad place. I did that for taco bell because I had some soft tacos a couple days ago and found out you can find out exact calorie amounts on their website. mrgreen

This one is for yesterday:

Breakfast: 1/2 cup non-fat French Vanilla yogurt with granola.
Drink: 20oz Water.
Snack: Nutrigrain bar and ricecake.
Drink: 10oz Water.
Lunch: 1/2 wheat bread sandwhich with turkey and cheese. Couple hot cheeto fries.
Drink: Tall Cinnamon Dolce latte.
Exercise: CONCERT! heart Three hours waiting out in the cold, various runs to local stores for bathroom, and headbanging and dancing the entire time.
Dinner: Piece of barbeque chicken and a potato.
Drink: 1/2 can of Monster low-carb energy drink, 20oz water.

Estimated Calories: 1210 - 600 concert energy = 610!

Wow, today was crazy! Got up and started running around getting ready for the concert (Dir En Grey <3 <3 <3 ). Got everyone ready then got dropped off downtown where we had to wait in line for over three hours in the freezing cold. We didn't bring coats because we did not want to have to carry them inside and hold them. We huddled together and with strangers trying to conserve body heat. After the first hour and a half my friend and I had to go to Starbucks to get something warm and we went to King Soopers near it to grab something to eat to keep ourselves from shaking. Then we had to run and dart traffic to find bathrooms. After the second hour, many people starting feeling sick because of the cold and a lot of people were shaking uncontrollably. But once we finally got inside, the mass amount of bodies kept us very warm as we starting dancing and headbanging. IT WAS SO FRICKEN AWESOME. heart Best. Concert. Ever. My friend says it was more 800 calories lost but I want to be conservative in my estimates. mrgreen
