"It's okay Mae, don't worry" She showed her upstairs. "In this room is a bathroom and a bedroom, good night" She said, as she left her in the room to get ready for bed.

Mae looked around the room and then to Kosha, watching as she left. She went to the bathroom and stripped off her old clothes and took a bath, making sure to wash her ears and tail well. She got out and dried herself off and changed into a clean set of light blue pajamas. Crawling into the bed, she curled up underneath the covers near the middle making her look like just a lump under the covers. Sighing, she closed her eyes and tried to fell asleep.

Kosha peeked in after she fell asleep. She gave her a light hug, and went to her room for the night.

Mae slowly but surely fell asleep and slept peacefully for half an hour or so before her dreaming turned to a nightmare. She whimpered quietly and curled into a tight ball under the covers.

As kosha was about to fall asleep, she heard the wimpering. She got up and headed for her room to calm her down. Koshe walked into her room and sat on her bed. "shhh, calm down. its only a dream"

Mae woke up, trembling slightly, "I'm sorry, I woke you up, didn't I?" she said quietly as she slowly calmed down.

"no no, i was still up. I wanted to make sure you were okay before i went to sleep." Kosha lightly hugged her.

Mae nodded and let Kosha hug her, she wasn't quite used to being hugged, it seemed odd compared to her old master, "I'll be fine." she told her quietly, though knew she would probably spend the rest of the night awake.

"Okay then. I'm going to retire for the night. See you in the morning" She left and headed for bed, and fell right asleep.

Mae watched her leave and then got up off the bed, she paced around her room for a bit and then ended up sitting in a chair by the window, looking out at the moon and stars.

Mae fell asleep for a few hours in the chair by the window before it was morning. She woked up when she accidentally fell off the chair onto the floor with a quiet thud. She groaned and sat up, shaking her head slightly, happy that she'd at least gotten a few hours of sleep.

Kosha awoke, and got ready for her day. She took a shower and was almost done by mid-sunrise. She headed for Mae's room to check on her

Mae got up off the floor and stretched and then changed into a green dress and brushed her hair and then went to sit by the window again, wondering if Kosha was awak yet.
