One thing that has helped me a bunch, and kmy socks laying much nicer, is that most new phones have a note-pad setting, so I just save them all that way.

Here's a question that branchs off this.
How many stories were struck by this sudden inspration that you write in notebooks and cell phone notepads?
I've only had one experience like that. It was late at night and I was thinking about naruto and came up with a fanfic that I wrote down in a near by notebook before it slipped away.

Any number of times with the notebook. Never with the cell phone. But I have jotted story ideas down on my pants before.
