1 he hasnt acknowledged his bond with cattie brie 2 he and wulfgar are to good of friends and he knows he would lose her forever if he did, 3 it has only been beginning to show after wulfgars death and wulfgar and cattiebrie arent into each other.

Laeral Silverhand, about point 3, that's not completely true. While it is accurate to say that he didin't become more open about it till after the death of Wulfgar, Cattie-Brie didn't start looking at Drizzt in that light until the episode with Cutter, the sword she got from Dantrang, where it possessed her and threw itself, using her body, at Drizzt. That was when she acknowledged that she might have feelings for him that weren't completely 'just friendly'.

i thought he was already dead then and besides this is from drizzts side not cattiebries so he would still think of her as a little sister not matter what she secretly thought of him
