Appearance: Saalem, being a tradition monk, carries hardly anything of value, he keeps his walking staff at ready wherever he goes. He appears dingy and ill-kempt, but yet there is nothing that seems detracting to his appearance because of it, almost as if he was meant to be that way.


Brief History: Saalem is one of the last decendents of the Aijiku. Primarily peaceful and at one with nature proved a fruitful relationship with life and the wilderness, and the Aijiku became very attuned to both. With this union in place for several centuries the Aijiku learned much of what there was of healing elements, through herbalism and magic, though most dramatic was their increased bodily sustinence and wellness. As with nature, they also learned to respect life, and destroyed what weapons they kept, in favor of creating their own form of Martial Arts to make up in lack of defense.

Over another couple of centuries, each aspect grew, each master teaching their apprentice, and the Aijiku hadn't felt any hostile element rattle it's saber until the more modern humans came to ascert their dominance over Aijikan land. Though Aijiku are typically identical to humans in every way, all Aijiku share one trait though, each and everyone of them has a green tattoo of the shifting seasons that changes between brown, white, pink and green leaves. Most tattoos find themselves around the waist, leg or ankles.

Saalem had mastered the healing arts (called Gaen), and was about to finish his training in Saa-ulishuln (Way of the Flowing River. On a side note: Saalem means in itself, "Way of light." Kane, meaning "Earth" So in full, his name means Way of Light and Earth), when the Humans (called "S'jinu" - Demons) first attacked. Before, they had only happened upon the Aijiku and started with harmless tests of land and crops to discover the secrets of the Aijikan abilities of Gaen and superb reflexive and physical prowess, though not quite sure to make of them, the Aijiku saw them as equals at first and welcomed them into their city in the forest. Humans, perplexed by their inability to figure out any reason for their powers, started testing Aijiku commoners, and it progressed until their efforts proved fruitless.

Humans became jealous, and hateful of the Aijiku for their superiority, though not technologically advanced. It was decided, if they could not be "human" they didn't belong on they should stay on this planet, so it was decided the Aijiku should be wiped out. Aijiku, sensing the tension, felt it was inevitable that the humans would start a war, and the Aijiku would not survive it. They secretly began covertly ferrying the most prodigal of children and young adults... Saalem was one of these students. Next to the city was a large river that swept through the forest, and it was through this that the student made their escape inside caskets, largely, they were totally ignored by the humans, focused on their plans of destruction. Though little information survived the Aijiku's demise, it's been said through rumors and hearsay that against 6,000 villagers, 40,000 soldiers with rifles, lost 25,000 to attacking the forest city. Others say that soldiers saw men they thought they'd killed rose from the ground to attack renewed, soldiers attributed it to "black magic." In any case, Saalem found himself alone on the banks of the river, with none of the other students or their caskets in sight, he was alone in an alien world. His powers of Gaen are focused into renewal of life, namely regeneration, and resurrection, but like all Aijiku, he can call upon forest spirits for help. His Saa-ulishuln training was quickly finished before he left, but he was not truly trained for defense against rifles or pistols, but against hand-held weapons and bare fists he has incredible knowledge of pressure points that would bring any man to immobile lump in seconds. During the Winter all Gaen powers go into dormancy, just as nature does, waiting for the rejuvination of Spring . It was said that in December, after fighting since the Spring, The Aijiku finally weakened to the human onslaught, and it was on that bloody month that their chapter in history had come to a close. But a new chapter was set for the survivors of that catastrophe.

Name: Arionis
Age: 17

Appearance: Gold hair and gold eyes. Normally wearing at least one piece of clothing a shade of yellow. Not exactly skinny, but not exactly muscly either. He's "toned" Generally keeps his wings out. If he plans to keep them out for a long period of time, he'll place an amethyst hoop at the bends of each wing. Along with the hoops, his other jewelry generally consists of an amethyst pendant and a gold stud in his right ear. Always carries a lavendar carrier bag hung accrossed his chest. He often skips wearing shirts due to the complications with his wings, if this happens, he straps his messenger bag around his waist.
Brief History: Trying his best to run from his dark past....and a darker enemy. His twin brother is a psychotic murdering genius who has committed countless murders, and has easily avoided suspicion in each one. Only one count of murder hangs over Kari, Ari's twin. The murder is that of Ari's childhood friend Plunaria (Hey! that's my name! ). After torturing the girl for 3 days straight, Kari took her memory of the event and put it into a memory sphere. He then tied Ari down and forced him to watch the event. Ari has trained ever since to be strong enough to destroy Kari. When the two were 8, Kari started a sexual relationship with Ari, taking advantage of his innocence. Ari grew to realize the evil in Kari's soul and pushed him away. Kari didn't like this and then started his killing sprees. Rumor has it Kari rapes Ari as well...Ari tries his best to avoid being found by his brother, and keep track of him as well.

His brother gives him black spheres called 'memory spheres" which hold the trapped souls of Kari's victims inside to relive their deaths over and over. To free them, Ari must view the death and weep over the sphere. After his golden tears hit the memory sphere, it turns gold becoming a 'dream sphere' which are used to have dream adventures or calm foes. When he developes his powers, he will be able to cause the dreams to overlap with the real world as an illusion, and eventually he will gain the ability to make dreams come true. In his messenger bag is a book called the "Tome of Luna and Polaris" which holds paper imprinted with magic. These pages can form themselves at the book owner's will. They can be sharp as swords or soft as feather down. They can take many origami-type shapes.

Appearance: Sere has Silver hair and yellow eyes.
Brief History: Sere is an Ex fighter from the Fallen Angel guild as well as the owner of the Rose Sanctuary, Once a bed and breakfast now a huge public garden and animal park. She is a widow with three children, Raine, naturally reared and taken her looks from her deceased father, and two other children from the wonders of Modern mad science technology. Integra, who has just been born, is the result of this. She shares her mothers looks with Silver hair and a soft shy smile. The other tube is still just a tube. Sere now spends her time with her children and her garden, she likes to haunt the pet auctions where she uses her fortune to buy during her retirement.

Appearance: Looks like the avatar. At first she used to look like your avarage fairy kid with a fuzzy brown tail at her behind. But as of late her apperances has changed as horns and a devil tail have sprouted on her. She likes the color black or green and usually wears tanks and shorts or anything sleevless.

Brief History: Born a saiyan/ newman hybrid (yup, I'm part saiyan and darn proud) Her parents were killed before she was born so she was given life by a forest spirit and grew up in a small village of forest fairy children. Since she was given life by the forest spirit she was also granted the same abilities as the other forest children. Such as basic healing abilities, basic elemental skills and the best one, being able to remain a child forever. OnedayLena decided she wanted to see the outside world and after gaining permission, set out on an adventure that led her to Barton town. Taking the form of an adult she soon found a job which was alot of fun and led to alot of mishap. It was also at this job. (waitress/cook) that she met Dante who eventually became her husband. A couple years and two kids later she still remains at her job and made alot of friends. Though recently her naive, sweet behavior if making a 180 degree change. In other words, try not to tick her off.

Powers: Include basic healing and some elemental tricks. She was given the power of the phoenix by her husband so there's alittle pyro in her too. xd Lena has also taken an interest in fighting and using blades.

Appearance: Alex is relatively tall, though she wishes that she were a little taller. She has long black hair that she usually ties back with a red ribbon. Alex has brown eyes usually hidden by her bangs. Alex usually wears dark colored clothing.
Brief History: Alex is a cheerful girl who hides alot inside of her. When she was ten her twin sister and parents were killed and she was knocked into a sort of shock for a couple of years. She was looked after by a kind woman until she was thirteen. After the old woman died of old age, Alex set off to remake her life, pushing the past behind her and pretending that it never happened.
